Is this for you?

Who local seo is built for

If one of these sounds like your week, the service below was designed around it.

Competitors with worse reviews show up above you on Maps

The map pack is ranked on relevance, distance and prominence, not on who deserves it. A profile with the right categories, weekly activity, answered reviews and consistent citations beats a better business with a neglected listing.

You get calls, but half of them are for the wrong service or area

Wrong categories, missing service lists and an unset service area teach Google to show you to the wrong people. Cleaning the profile changes who calls before it changes how many call.

You run several branches and nobody owns the listings

One branch manager set up a profile in 2019 with a personal Gmail, another was created by a customer, and the third is suspended. Multi-location local SEO starts by putting every listing under one verified account you control.

What's included

Everything the engagement covers, in writing

No vague 'digital marketing activities'. This is the deliverables list that goes into your scope document.

Google Business Profile audit and optimisation

Every field checked and completed: primary and secondary categories, services with descriptions, attributes, hours, service area, booking links, products and a description written for searches, not slogans. Done in the first 10 working days.

Posts every week

8 posts a month on Local Presence and 12 on Local Growth: offers, updates, events and service spotlights with a photo and a call to action. Google treats a profile that publishes as an active business, and dormant profiles slide.

Every review answered within 48 hours

Positive reviews get a specific reply that names the service, negative reviews get a calm, factual response that shows the next customer how you handle problems. Replies are drafted by us and approved by you where needed.

Review generation flow

From Local Growth upward, a QR code for the counter or invoice plus a WhatsApp follow-up template that asks for a review at the right moment, within Google's rules: no incentives, no gating, no bulk requests from one device.

Citations that match exactly

5 new listings a month on Local Presence and 10 on Local Growth across Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART, Bing Places, Apple Maps and category directories, with name, address and phone identical to the profile. Existing wrong listings are corrected first.

Photo, product and service updates

Fresh photos uploaded monthly, geotagged where appropriate, plus service and product lists kept current. Profiles with recent photos consistently earn more direction requests and calls than profiles that stopped uploading.

Location pages on your website

From Local Growth upward, one page per location on your site with address, map embed, hours, services, reviews and LocalBusiness schema, so the profile and the website reinforce each other for the same searches.

Local schema and website signals

LocalBusiness, Service and FAQ markup, consistent NAP in the footer, and internal links from service pages to location pages. Google cross-checks the profile against the website, and gaps cost rankings.

Spam listing removal and Q&A seeding

On Multi-Location, fake or keyword-stuffed competitor listings are reported through Google's redressal process, and the Questions and Answers section is seeded with the questions customers actually ask, answered from your account.

Map-pack rank report

Monthly on Local Presence, fortnightly on Local Growth, per-location dashboard on Multi-Location: map-pack positions by locality grid, calls, direction requests and website clicks from the profile, review count and rating trend, and the work log.

How much does local SEO cost in India in 2026?

Local SEO pricing in India falls into three bands. Productised tools and freelancers that only manage a Google Business Profile charge about ₹3,600 to ₹4,000 per location per month, usually for scheduled posts and little else. Agencies that offer full profile management on its own typically charge ₹16,000 to ₹24,000 per month. Full local SEO, which adds citations, reviews, location pages and website signals, runs ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 or more per month, with multi-location groups priced per branch.

A typical entry scope at those prices includes 10 to 15 citations built over the first few months, around 8 profile posts a month and reviews answered on a schedule. Mediaverse Digital publishes three tiers against that scale: Local Presence at ₹15,000 per month for one location, Local Growth at ₹30,000 for up to 3 locations, and Multi-Location at ₹60,000 for up to 10 locations, with ₹5,000 for each extra location beyond that. The post, citation and review commitments are printed beside each price.

The main cost driver is location count, not business size. A single clinic and a single showroom need the same work. What changes the price is the number of profiles to keep active, the number of citation sets to build and the number of review streams to answer, which is why the tiers are defined by location count rather than by company revenue.

What does Google rank in the map pack?

Google documents three factors for local ranking: relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well the profile matches what was searched, which comes down to categories, services, the business description and the content of your website. Distance is where the searcher is standing, which you cannot change, though you can make sure the service area and address are set correctly so you are eligible in the first place.

Prominence is the part most businesses neglect. It combines review count and rating, how often the business is mentioned across the web in directories and articles, and the authority of the linked website. A business with 40 recent reviews, consistent listings on a dozen directories and a fast website with a proper location page will usually outrank a competitor with 200 old reviews and a listing nobody has touched since it was verified.

Activity matters more than it used to. Profiles that post weekly, add photos, answer reviews and keep hours current are treated as live businesses. Profiles that go quiet lose visibility to more active neighbours even when nothing else changes. That is why the retainer is built around a weekly cadence rather than a one-time setup, and why a profile should be treated as a channel to feed, not a form to fill in once.

What should a local SEO agency do every month?

The first month is setup: claim or recover the profile, fix every field, correct existing citations that disagree with each other, install the review flow and build or fix the location page. From month two the work is rhythmic. Each week a post goes out, new photos are uploaded, reviews are answered within 48 hours and new citations are added. Each month the map-pack grid is re-run for the core phrases, and the report shows what moved and why.

The work that separates a real local SEO programme from a posting tool is the checking. Google can change a category, drop an attribute or accept a bad user edit without telling you. Competitors can create spam listings that push you out of the pack. Every month we audit the profile against the record we hold, report unwanted edits, and file removal requests against listings that break Google's guidelines.

  • Weekly: profile post, photo upload, every review answered within 48 hours
  • Weekly: new citations built and old ones corrected, NAP consistency checked
  • Monthly: map-pack grid ranking for core phrases, profile audit for unwanted edits
  • Monthly or fortnightly: report with calls, directions, website clicks and review trend
  • Quarterly on Multi-Location: review meeting, spam-listing sweep, location page refresh

Why the profile, the reviews and the pages must stay yours

Many agencies manage listings from their own Google account, and some create the profile under their own login. When the relationship ends, the client discovers they cannot log in to their own business on Maps. Every profile we manage is owned by a Google account in your name; we work as a manager with the permissions the job needs and nothing more. The same applies to the review QR codes, the location pages on your site and the citation logins, which are recorded in a shared sheet you keep.

Delivery is remote from Bangalore for businesses across India, and for US, UK and UAE companies that need local visibility in Indian cities or want profile management at Indian cost structures. Location pages on your site are built in your CMS, and the retainer runs month-to-month with 15 days notice. If you stop, you keep the profile, the reviews, the citations, the pages and every report.

Process

How an engagement runs

1

Profile and citation audit

Within 5 working days: every field on the profile checked, existing citations found and compared, map-pack positions recorded on a grid. You get the findings in writing whether or not you proceed.

2

Claim, fix and verify

Weeks 1 to 2: ownership moved to your account, categories, services and hours corrected, suspensions or duplicates resolved, review flow installed at the counter and on WhatsApp.

3

Build signals

Weeks 2 to 6: citations built and corrected, location pages and local schema published on your site, first posts and photos live, reviews answered on a 48-hour clock.

4

Keep the cadence

Weekly posts, photos and review replies, monthly grid re-run and profile audit. First map-pack movement typically shows within 4 to 8 weeks for uncontested localities.

5

Report and expand

Monthly or fortnightly report with calls, directions and clicks from the profile. Add locations at ₹5,000 each on Multi-Location as branches open.

Industries

Where we run local seo most

From the founder

The Mediaverse puts brands on autos and shop boards in the same neighbourhoods where their customers are searching on Maps, so I know how much of a local business lives or dies on the map pack. My rules for this service are simple. The profile is owned by a Google account in your name before we touch anything else. Post, citation and review commitments are printed on the page and repeated in your scope. Every review reply is on a 48-hour clock, and the monthly report shows calls and direction requests from Google's own data, not a number we made up. I review each report before it goes out.
