Is this for you?

Who ai search (geo) is built for

If one of these sounds like your week, the service below was designed around it.

Customers say they asked ChatGPT and it recommended someone else

AI assistants answer with three to five names, not ten blue links. If your brand is not one of them, the shortlist is being made without you. Getting onto it is an engineering problem, not luck.

Your Google clicks are falling even though rankings held

AI Overviews now sit above the organic results for a large share of informational and commercial searches in India. Pages that rank but are not cited inside the Overview lose the click. The fix is structure, not more keywords.

You sell to buyers who research with Perplexity and Gemini

Founders, procurement teams and doctors increasingly ask an AI engine to compare vendors before opening a browser. Being cited in that comparison, with correct facts about your business, decides whether you get the enquiry.

What's included

Everything the engagement covers, in writing

No vague 'digital marketing activities'. This is the deliverables list that goes into your scope document.

Technical SEO foundation

Crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals and rendering fixed first, plus explicit access for AI crawlers such as GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended in robots.txt. Engines cannot cite what they cannot fetch.

Question research (AEO)

The questions buyers actually ask AI engines about your category, mapped from People Also Ask, Perplexity related queries, forum threads and your own sales conversations, then assigned to pages that answer them directly.

Answer-first content

4 articles a month on Foundations and 8 or more on Authority, each opening with a 40 to 60 word direct answer, question-phrased headings, sourced statistics and a FAQ block. Structured the way retrieval systems chunk and quote pages.

Schema and entity setup

Organization, Person, Service, FAQ, Article and Product markup, a sameAs graph linking your profiles, and consistent founder and company facts across the web, so engines resolve your brand as one known entity rather than a string of text.

Directory and profile consistency

Your business name, description, category, founder and pricing facts aligned across Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Justdial, industry directories and review platforms, because AI engines cross-check sources before they trust one.

Digital PR and listicle outreach

On Authority, monthly outreach to get your brand into the comparison articles, best-of lists and expert round-ups that AI engines cite disproportionately when asked to recommend a vendor. Every placement is reported with its URL.

Original data and reports

On Authority, one original data piece per quarter: a pricing survey, benchmark study or industry report built from your data or a survey we run. Engines cite the primary source of a statistic, and that source can be you.

Content clusters

Groups of answer-first pages around one commercial topic, interlinked so the engine sees depth rather than one isolated page. Clusters are how a smaller brand earns citations on a topic a larger competitor treats generically.

AI visibility tracking

Monthly prompt panel run across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews for 20 to 40 buyer questions, recording whether you are named, which page is cited and what the engine says about you. Reported beside Google rankings.

Reporting on both engines

One monthly report covering Google keyword movement, Search Console clicks and impressions, AI citation share by engine, referral traffic from AI assistants in GA4, and the work log with URLs. Quarterly strategy deep-dive on Authority.

How much does AI search optimization cost in India in 2026?

There is no settled market rate for Generative Engine Optimization yet, which is exactly why agencies get away with quoting whatever the client seems able to pay. In practice GEO is sold either as an add-on to an SEO retainer, typically ₹10,000 to ₹30,000 on top of a ₹15,000 to ₹2,00,000 SEO fee in India, or as a standalone programme that repackages content and PR work at a premium. Both make it hard to see what is actually being done for the money.

Mediaverse Digital publishes two tiers. Foundations at ₹40,000 per month (about $750) covers the technical fixes, 4 answer-first articles, schema and entity setup, directory consistency and a monthly report on Google rankings plus AI visibility. Authority at ₹75,000 per month (about $1,400) adds 8 or more articles in clusters, digital PR and listicle outreach, original data production and a quarterly strategy deep-dive. Both carry a 3-month minimum, then run month-to-month.

The honest way to judge the price is by what is produced. An answer-first article with sourced statistics costs real editorial time. A placement in a comparison article that Perplexity cites is earned through outreach, not bought. If a quote for AI search optimization does not list article counts, placement targets and a visibility measurement method, you are being sold the label rather than the work.

How do ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews choose what to cite?

Every major AI answer engine now retrieves live web results before writing, then quotes and links the sources it used. The pages it selects share a pattern. They answer the exact question near the top, in plain sentences an engine can lift without editing. They carry statistics with a named source. They belong to an entity the engine already recognises from consistent mentions elsewhere. And they are fast, crawlable and not blocked to AI user agents.

The engines also lean heavily on third parties when asked to recommend. Ask any assistant for the best agency, clinic or software in a category and the sources are usually comparison articles, directories, review platforms and best-of lists rather than the vendors' own sites. That means a brand cannot cite its way in alone. It has to appear, with consistent facts, on the pages the engines already trust, which is the digital PR half of this programme.

Google AI Overviews behave slightly differently: they draw mostly from pages that already rank in the top results for the query, then favour the ones with clear structure and schema. That is why classic SEO and GEO are run as one programme here. A page that does not rank rarely gets into an Overview; a page that ranks but rambles gets skipped for one that answers.

What does a GEO and AEO programme do every month?

Month one is foundation: the technical audit, AI crawler access, schema and entity graph, and a sweep of every profile and directory where your business facts disagree with each other. The prompt panel is run for the first time so there is a baseline to measure against. From month two the rhythm is editorial and outreach. Articles are briefed from the question research, written answer-first, published with schema and internal links, and existing pages are restructured one by one.

On Authority, outreach runs alongside: pitching your brand and data into comparison articles, listicles and industry round-ups, and producing the quarterly original data piece that gives publishers and engines a reason to cite you. At month end the prompt panel is re-run across all five engines, and the report shows citation share, which pages were cited, and where the facts the engines state about you are wrong so they can be corrected at the source.

  • Month 1: technical fixes, AI crawler access, schema and entity graph, directory sweep, baseline prompt panel
  • Monthly: 4 or 8+ answer-first articles, existing pages restructured, internal links and FAQ schema
  • Monthly on Authority: digital PR and listicle outreach, placements reported with URLs
  • Quarterly on Authority: original data piece and strategy deep-dive
  • Month end: prompt panel across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and AI Overviews, report with citation share

We practice what we sell: this site is the test bench

Everything in this programme runs on themediaverse.in first. The published pricing, the 40 to 60 word answer blocks at the top of every page, the FAQ schema, the founder entity, the answer-first blog posts and the AI visibility panel were all built for our own outdoor and digital business before they were offered to clients. When an engine changes how it cites, we see it in our own numbers before it reaches your report.

The team works remotely from Bangalore for clients across India and for companies in the US, UK and UAE that want a senior-led GEO programme at Indian cost structures. Every asset is created in your accounts and on your domain: Search Console, GA4, the CMS, the schema and the directory logins. If you stop after the 3-month minimum, you keep every page, every placement and every report, and the citations keep working for you.

Process

How an engagement runs

1

Audit and roadmap

A technical, content and AI-visibility audit with a baseline prompt panel and a prioritised 90-day roadmap, delivered within 7 working days. You keep the roadmap even if you don't hire us.

2

Fix the foundation

Weeks 1 to 3: technical issues, AI crawler access, schema, site structure and entity consistency across the web. The unglamorous work that makes everything else stick.

3

Publish and build

From week 3: answer-first content clusters shipped on a monthly calendar you can see, plus directory and PR placements on Authority, each reported with its URL.

4

Measure and compound

Monthly reporting on rankings, AI citations by engine, traffic and leads. Entity and directory work often shows in 3 to 6 months; months 4 to 9 are where the curve bends.

Industries

Where we run ai search (geo) most

From the founder

“I built the AI-search programme on our own site before offering it, because I was not willing to sell something I had not tested with my own money. The rules for clients are the same rules we follow. The article counts and placement targets in each tier are printed here and repeated in your scope document before you pay. The prompt panel is run the same way every month, and the report shows the engines that did not name you as clearly as the ones that did. Every asset lives on your domain and in your accounts. I read every report before it leaves.”

FAQ

AI Search (GEO) questions, answered straight

Generative Engine Optimization is the practice of making a brand visible in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. It combines answer-first content structure, consistent entity data across the web, third-party citations and statistics-rich pages, because AI engines cite sources they can retrieve, verify and trust. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the closely related discipline of structuring pages so a specific question gets a liftable, direct answer.
