Shop Name Board Cost in Bangalore by Frontage: 6, 10, 15, 20 and 30 ft Priced on the Card, Rs.1,530 to Rs.1,08,000 (2026)

Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 is what a 10 ft Bangalore shopfront costs in standard ACP at a 3 ft board height on our published card of Rs.690 to Rs.950 per sq ft, read 11 October 2026, against Rs.2,550 to Rs.4,500 in flex and Rs.7,800 to Rs.13,500 in GSB. This guide prices 6, 10, 15, 20 and 30 ft frontages in all five materials, from Rs.1,530 for a 6 ft flex board to Rs.1,08,000 for 30 ft in stainless steel 3D letters, costs the 60 percent Kannada rule as a line of its own and checks the page's installed examples against its card.

Five Bangalore shopfront widths, 6 to 30 ft, priced in every material on the live card at a 3 ft board height, with the Kannada rule costed, the 48-hour lane priced and the page's own examples reconciled.

Nobody in Bangalore buys a shop name board by the square foot. They buy a frontage: the 6 ft doorway of a Gandhi Bazaar pharmacy, the 10 ft face of a Koramangala cafe, the 20 ft run of a Jayanagar 4th Block showroom. The per square foot rate on our Bangalore shop name board page only becomes a price once it is multiplied by that frontage and a board height, and that multiplication is what this guide does. The card, read on 11 October 2026, runs from Rs.85 per sq ft for non-lit flex to Rs.1,200 per sq ft for ACP with stainless steel 3D letters. At a 3 ft board height, that puts a 6 ft frontage between Rs.1,530 and Rs.21,600, a 10 ft frontage between Rs.2,550 and Rs.36,000, and a 30 ft frontage between Rs.7,650 and Rs.1,08,000, with design, fabrication, transport, installation and the BBMP permit inside every figure. The five frontages below are priced in every material on the card, the 60 percent Kannada rule is costed as a line of its own, and the page's three installed examples are checked against its own rates.

What does the Bangalore shop name board card publish per square foot?

Our shop name board page for Bangalore publishes five price bands, each per square foot of board, and says the rate includes design, fabrication, transportation, professional installation and BBMP signage permit handling. ACP and GSB boards carry a 2-year structural warranty, non-lit boards 1 year, and LED components are covered separately for 1 year. The page gives published life for each material too: 5 or more years for ACP, 7 or more for ACP with stainless steel letters, 3 to 5 years for GSB and 12 to 18 months for non-lit flex under Bangalore weather. Those lives matter later, because the cheapest board per frontage is not the cheapest board per year.

Non-lit board, flex or vinyl on sunboard

Rs.85 to Rs.150per sq ft; 3 working days; 1-year warranty

Published life 12 to 18 months. The page pairs it with temporary installs and cloud kitchens.

Most Popular

GSB glow sign, backlit acrylic, IP65 LED

Rs.260 to Rs.450per sq ft; 5 working days; 2-year warranty

Published life 3 to 5 years, LED replacement every 3 to 5 years. The page's pick for night-active F&B and pharmacies.

ACP standard, 4 mm panel, PVDF coating

Rs.690 to Rs.950per sq ft; 5 working days; 2-year warranty

Published life 5 or more years. The page's recommended permanent board for Bangalore rain and UV.

ACP with 3D acrylic letters

Rs.850 to Rs.1,000per sq ft; 5 working days; 2-year warranty

Raised acrylic letters on an ACP base, LED halo optional. Adds Rs.50 to Rs.160 per sq ft over standard ACP.

ACP with stainless steel 3D letters

Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200per sq ft; 5 to 7 working days; 2-year warranty

Published life 7 or more years. Adds Rs.250 to Rs.310 per sq ft over standard ACP, our arithmetic.

The Bangalore shop name board card as published on the live city page on 11 October 2026, per square foot of board. The page states that design, fabrication, transport, installation and BBMP permits are inside the rate and that chains opening 3 or more outlets get multi-location pricing, without a figure. It does not mention GST; the with-GST figures elsewhere in this guide add 18 percent as our arithmetic.

Two things on this card decide the budget more than the headline rate. The first is the band itself: every material is a range, and the page does not say what moves a job from the bottom of the band to the top. Letter count, lighting, mounting height and the condition of the wall are the usual reasons, but that is our reading, not the page's. The second is height. The page prices a typical board at 4 by 2 ft and shows installed examples at 6 by 3 ft and 8 by 4 ft, so a Bangalore board is somewhere between 2 and 4 ft tall. Every frontage below is priced at 3 ft, the middle of that range and the height of the page's Koramangala example; a 2 ft board costs two thirds of each figure and a 4 ft board costs a third more.

How much does a shop name board cost for a 6, 10, 15, 20 or 30 ft frontage in Bangalore?

The five frontages below are the ones that recur across the corridors the page names: 6 ft for a single-door pharmacy or juice counter in Gandhi Bazaar or Chickpet, 10 ft for a cafe or salon in Koramangala 5th Block or Indiranagar 12th Main, 15 ft for a clinic or boutique on Commercial Street or in Jayanagar, 20 ft for a restaurant or showroom on Brigade Road or HSR Sector 1, and 30 ft for a corner store, a supermarket or a franchise flagship on Whitefield Main Road or Sarjapur Road. At 3 ft of height they are 18, 30, 45, 60 and 90 sq ft of board, and the table multiplies each by every band on the card.

Our arithmetic: what each frontage costs in each material on the Bangalore card, at a 3 ft board height, before GST

Frontage (sq ft at 3 ft)Non-lit flex, Rs.85 to Rs.150GSB glow sign, Rs.260 to Rs.450ACP standard, Rs.690 to Rs.950ACP + 3D acrylic, Rs.850 to Rs.1,000ACP + stainless 3D, Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200

20 ft (60 sq ft)Rs.5,100 to Rs.9,000Rs.15,600 to Rs.27,000Rs.41,400 to Rs.57,000Rs.51,000 to Rs.60,000Rs.60,000 to Rs.72,000
30 ft (90 sq ft)Rs.7,650 to Rs.13,500Rs.23,400 to Rs.40,500Rs.62,100 to Rs.85,500Rs.76,500 to Rs.90,000Rs.90,000 to Rs.1,08,000

Frontage multiplied by a 3 ft height, then by the low and high end of each published band. Scale by two thirds for a 2 ft board and by four thirds for a 4 ft board. The page says every figure includes design, fabrication, transport, installation and the BBMP permit; it does not mention GST, and at 18 percent a Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 ACP board for 10 ft lands at Rs.24,426 to Rs.33,630.

Read the table across a row and the spread is the story. On a 10 ft frontage the same wall can carry a Rs.2,550 flex board or a Rs.36,000 stainless steel one, a 14 times difference for the same width. Read it down a column and the frontage does the work instead: in standard ACP the step from 10 ft to 20 ft adds Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500, which is a whole second 10 ft board, and 30 ft in stainless steel 3D letters at Rs.90,000 to Rs.1,08,000 costs more than four 6 ft boards in the same material. For the per-year view that makes GSB and flex look closer than they do here, our ten-city cost per year of life guide works the same Bangalore bands against the published lives and lands at Rs.89 to Rs.164 per sq ft per year.

Which frontage can Rs.10,000, Rs.25,000 or Rs.50,000 buy in Bangalore?

Most owners start from the other end: a budget, not a frontage. Dividing each budget by the band and then by the 3 ft height gives the widest board that money buys in each material, which is the quickest way to see where ACP stops and GSB begins.

Our arithmetic: the widest frontage each budget buys in each material at a 3 ft board height, before GST

BudgetNon-lit flexGSB glow signACP standardACP + 3D acrylicACP + stainless 3D
Rs.10,00022 to 39 ft (66 to 117 sq ft)7 to 13 ft (22 to 38 sq ft)3.5 to 5 ft (10 to 14 sq ft)3.3 to 4 ft (10 to 12 sq ft)2.8 to 3.3 ft (8 to 10 sq ft)
Rs.25,000Any of the five frontages (166 to 294 sq ft)18 to 32 ft (55 to 96 sq ft)9 to 12 ft (26 to 36 sq ft)8 to 10 ft (25 to 29 sq ft)7 to 8 ft (21 to 25 sq ft)
Rs.50,000Any of the five frontages37 to 64 ft (111 to 192 sq ft)17.5 to 24 ft (53 to 72 sq ft)17 to 20 ft (50 to 59 sq ft)14 to 17 ft (42 to 50 sq ft)

Budget divided by the high and low end of each band gives the square feet, divided by 3 ft gives the frontage, rounded to the nearest half foot. A 10 ft shopfront therefore sits inside Rs.10,000 only in flex or GSB; it needs Rs.20,700 or more in standard ACP.

The practical reading for a first shop: under Rs.10,000, a 10 ft frontage is a flex board or a GSB at the low end of its band, and ACP is out of reach unless the board is under 5 ft wide. Between Rs.25,000 and Rs.30,000, standard ACP covers the 6 and 10 ft frontages and nothing wider, while GSB covers everything up to 30 ft at the bottom of its band. Above Rs.50,000 the choice is no longer about affording the material and becomes the per-year question, where ACP's 5-year life starts to beat GSB's 3 to 5 years at the same wall.

What does the 60 percent Kannada rule cost on each frontage?

The page is direct about this: Karnataka's language rule gives Kannada the dominant share of the display, commonly applied as 60 percent with the Kannada text in the upper portion of the board, BBMP runs enforcement drives that sharpen around Kannada Rajyotsava on 1 November, and building the rule into the design from day one costs nothing while retrofitting a finished board costs a second board. That turns the rule into a cost line with two values. Designed in, it is Rs.0: the Kannada name is the primary line, the English rendering sits beneath it, and on a 3D-letter board both scripts are cut as raised letters. Retrofitted, it is the full board price again, plus the exposure to the Rs.5,000 to Rs.25,000 fine band and removal orders the page publishes for non-compliant signage. Our 60 percent Kannada rule compliance playbook covers how the share is calculated and the layouts that pass on first filing; the table below only prices the two outcomes.

Our arithmetic: the Kannada rule as a cost line on each frontage, standard ACP at a 3 ft height

30 ftUpper 1.8 ft, about 54 sq ft of 90Rs.0Rs.62,100 to Rs.85,500Rs.5,000 to Rs.25,000

The upper-band reading is our illustration of a horizontal split; the page describes the rule as the dominant share of the display with Kannada in the upper portion and does not publish a measurement method. The second-board column is the standard ACP price for the same frontage from the first table. Registered logos stay in their original form on the page's reading of the norms; the requirement is met through the Kannada name line and descriptor.

Two details from the page belong in the brief rather than the budget. The Kannada transliteration is checked by native speakers on the team, not left to a font converter, because a wrongly joined consonant cluster on a 6 ft board is noticed by the whole street. And on GSB boards the Kannada line sits in translucent vinyl on the lit face, so it stays visible after dark, which matters in the evening-heavy corridors the page names, Koramangala and Indiranagar, where buying hours run past 7 PM.

How do the page's own installed examples compare with its card?

The Bangalore page publishes three installed jobs with sizes and prices, and each one can be divided back into a per square foot figure. None of them lands inside the band the page prints for that material, and the gap is worth knowing before a quote arrives, because it shows that the card is a ceiling and a floor that real jobs move around.

The page's three installed examples divided back into a per sq ft rate, against the band the same page publishes for that material

Prices and sizes as published on the live Bangalore page on 11 October 2026. The per sq ft figures and the implied board size for the franchise job are ours. The page does not say whether the examples predate the current card or reflect the multi-outlet pricing it mentions.

Our older Bangalore posts carry rates that predate this card as well: the GSB at Rs.250 versus ACP, flex and LED comparison prices GSB at Rs.250 and ACP at Rs.320 to Rs.450 per sq ft, and the Bangalore manufacturers guide quotes Rs.180 to Rs.450 across all materials. The live page is the figure to plan on; those posts are useful for the material arguments, not the arithmetic. When a quotation comes in below the card, as the page's own examples do, ask which line of the card it follows and whether lighting is inside it, because LED backlighting on the Koramangala example is included at a price under the unlit ACP floor.

How do you price your own frontage before you order? The seven steps

The steps below produce a number you can hold a quotation against. They take an hour with a tape measure and the card; the page's own process then takes 5 working days from design approval, with a same-day site survey for urgent jobs.

1

Measure the frontage you can actually mount, not the shop width

Measure the wall above the shutter from pillar to pillar, and separately note anything that eats into it: a rolling shutter box, an air conditioner outdoor unit, a tree branch, a neighbour's board overlapping yours. The usable width is the frontage to price. On the page's corridors a Chickpet or Gandhi Bazaar unit is often 6 ft of usable wall between shared pillars even when the shop is wider inside, and a Koramangala cafe with a side entrance may have 10 ft of fascia but only 8 ft clear of the shutter box.

2

Fix the board height from the wall, then multiply

The page prices a typical board at 4 by 2 ft and shows installed boards at 6 by 3 ft and 8 by 4 ft, so a Bangalore board sits between 2 and 4 ft tall. Measure the clear band between the shutter top and the floor slab or canopy above it, subtract a hand's width top and bottom for mounting, and that is the height. Width times height is the square footage every band on the card multiplies: a 10 ft frontage is 20 sq ft at 2 ft, 30 at 3 ft and 40 at 4 ft, and standard ACP moves from Rs.13,800 to Rs.38,000 across that range.

3

Pick the material by hours and weather, then read the band

The page's rule of thumb is ACP for anything permanent, GSB where the business trades after dark, and flex only for temporary installs and cloud kitchens, because flex shows wear within 12 to 18 months under 1,200 mm of Bangalore rain. Write the low and high figure of the chosen band next to your square footage. A 15 ft clinic frontage at 3 ft is 45 sq ft: Rs.11,700 to Rs.20,250 in GSB if the clinic runs evening hours, Rs.31,050 to Rs.42,750 in standard ACP if it does not.

4

Decide on 3D letters as a per square foot premium, not a flat add-on

On the card, acrylic 3D letters move standard ACP from Rs.690 to Rs.950 up to Rs.850 to Rs.1,000, which is Rs.50 to Rs.160 more per sq ft, and stainless steel letters move it to Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200, which is Rs.250 to Rs.310 more. On a 20 ft frontage at 3 ft that is Rs.3,000 to Rs.9,600 for acrylic and Rs.15,000 to Rs.18,600 for steel. The page lists LED backlighting on 3D letters as available but does not price it separately, so ask whether the halo is inside the 3D rate on your quote.

5

Lay out the Kannada line before the first artwork, so the cost line stays at zero

Put the Kannada name as the primary line in the upper portion of the board with the English rendering beneath it, in the first mockup, not the third. The page says this costs nothing at design stage and a second board if retrofitted, which on the first table is Rs.12,420 for a 6 ft ACP board and Rs.62,100 or more for a 30 ft one. Franchise outlets keep the HQ logotype untouched and meet the rule through the Kannada name line and descriptor, the approach the page describes across Koramangala, Whitefield and Indiranagar rollouts.

6

Choose the lead time and price the rush honestly

Standard delivery is 5 working days from design approval for ACP and GSB and 3 working days for non-lit, with fabrication running in parallel to the shop fitout if the brief is placed the day the lease is signed. The 48-hour emergency lane carries a 20 percent expedite fee, so on a 10 ft standard ACP board it adds Rs.4,140 to Rs.5,700 and on a 20 ft one Rs.8,280 to Rs.11,400. If the opening date is more than a week away, the rush fee buys nothing.

7

Write the quotation lines and check each against the card

Ask for the quote as lines, not a total: width by height and the square footage, the material and its per sq ft rate, whether 3D letters and LED are inside that rate, the Kannada layout confirmed, the BBMP permit stated as included, the warranty term, the lead time, and GST shown separately. The page says design, fabrication, transport, installation and the permit are all inside the per sq ft rate, so any of those appearing as a separate line is a question. GST is not mentioned on the page; at 18 percent it turns a Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 10 ft ACP board into Rs.24,426 to Rs.33,630.

How long does each option take, and what does the 48-hour lane add on each frontage?

The page runs the same five-stage process for every board: site survey on day 1, design and approval on days 1 to 2, fabrication on days 2 to 4, transport and installation on day 5, handover with BBMP documentation and the warranty card on day 5. The emergency lane compresses that to 48 hours at 20 percent on the board price, which on the frontage table is a fixed share rather than a fixed fee.

Our arithmetic: standard ACP at 3 ft on each frontage, the 5-day price and the 48-hour price at the page's 20 percent expedite fee, before GST

FrontageStandard ACP, 5 working days20 percent expedite fee48-hour emergency price
6 ftRs.12,420 to Rs.17,100Rs.2,484 to Rs.3,420Rs.14,904 to Rs.20,520

15 ftRs.31,050 to Rs.42,750Rs.6,210 to Rs.8,550Rs.37,260 to Rs.51,300
20 ftRs.41,400 to Rs.57,000Rs.8,280 to Rs.11,400Rs.49,680 to Rs.68,400
30 ftRs.62,100 to Rs.85,500Rs.12,420 to Rs.17,100Rs.74,520 to Rs.1,02,600

Lead times and the 20 percent expedite fee as published on the Bangalore page; the rupee figures are ours. Non-lit boards ship in 3 working days at standard pace. The page does not say whether stainless steel 3D letters, quoted at 5 to 7 working days, are available on the 48-hour lane.

What should be on the quotation before you sign?

Everything on this checklist is a line the page itself publishes, so a quotation that cannot show it is a quotation to query. For the permit side of the same list, our BBMP approval playbook in seven steps walks through the filing; for how the board fits beside the other formats on the Bangalore cards, the smallest bookable order in every Bangalore format puts the 4 by 2 ft board next to the 300-auto and 1,000-board floors.

  • Width by height in feet and the square footage, matching your own tape measure within a few inches.
  • Material named as one of the five card lines, with the per sq ft rate inside its published band: Rs.85 to Rs.150, Rs.260 to Rs.450, Rs.690 to Rs.950, Rs.850 to Rs.1,000 or Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200.
  • 3D letters and LED backlighting stated as inside or outside the rate, since the page prices 3D by material but not the LED halo.
  • Kannada as the primary line in the upper portion, shown on the mockup, with the transliteration checked by a native speaker.
  • Design, fabrication, transport, installation and the BBMP permit written as included, as the page says they are.
  • Warranty: 2 years structural on ACP and GSB, 1 year on non-lit, 1 year on LED components, with the 48-hour repair response the page mentions.
  • Lead time: 5 working days for ACP and GSB, 3 for non-lit, or the 48-hour lane with the 20 percent fee shown as its own line.
  • GST shown separately at 18 percent, because the page does not say whether the per sq ft rate includes it.

If the frontage is one of the five above, the first table is the number to hold the quote against; if it is not, the seven steps rebuild it in a few minutes. For the pairing most Bangalore owners ask about next, the page itself points at auto branding in Bangalore for the lanes around the shop, and the national shop name board page carries the same material arguments for the other nine cities.

How many square feet is a shop name board for a 15 ft frontage in Bangalore?

It depends on the height you can mount, which is why this guide prices every frontage at 3 ft: a 15 ft frontage is then 45 sq ft, Rs.3,825 to Rs.6,750 in non-lit flex, Rs.11,700 to Rs.20,250 in GSB and Rs.31,050 to Rs.42,750 in standard ACP on the Bangalore card. At 2 ft it is 30 sq ft and at 4 ft it is 60 sq ft, so the same frontage can cost anywhere from Rs.20,700 to Rs.57,000 in ACP depending on the band of wall above the shutter. Measure the clear height before you measure the width.

Does the 60 percent Kannada rule add to the cost of a Bangalore shop board?

Not when it is in the first artwork. The page says building the rule into the design from day one costs nothing, because the Kannada name simply becomes the primary line in the upper portion with the English beneath it. It adds the price of a whole second board when retrofitted, which on the frontage table is Rs.12,420 to Rs.17,100 for a 6 ft ACP board and Rs.62,100 to Rs.85,500 for a 30 ft one, on top of the Rs.5,000 to Rs.25,000 fine band the page publishes for non-compliant signage. Registered logos stay in their original form.

What do 3D letters add to the price of an ACP board in Bangalore?

On the card, 3D acrylic letters take standard ACP from Rs.690 to Rs.950 per sq ft to Rs.850 to Rs.1,000, a premium of Rs.50 to Rs.160 per sq ft, and stainless steel letters take it to Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200, a premium of Rs.250 to Rs.310. On a 10 ft frontage at 3 ft, that is Rs.1,500 to Rs.4,800 more for acrylic and Rs.7,500 to Rs.9,300 more for steel. The page lists LED backlighting on 3D letters but does not price it separately, so confirm whether the halo is inside the rate you are quoted.

How fast can a shop board be installed in Bangalore and what does the 48-hour lane cost?

Five working days from design approval for ACP and GSB and three for non-lit, with the page running survey on day 1, design on days 1 to 2, fabrication on days 2 to 4 and installation on day 5. The 48-hour emergency lane adds a 20 percent expedite fee, so a 10 ft standard ACP board at Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 becomes Rs.24,840 to Rs.34,200 and a 20 ft one at Rs.41,400 to Rs.57,000 becomes Rs.49,680 to Rs.68,400. The page's advice is to brief the board the day the lease is signed so the rush is never needed.

Why do the Bangalore page's installed examples cost less than its card rate?

The page does not say, and we will not guess. The arithmetic shows its 6 by 3 ft ACP board with 3D acrylic letters and LED at Rs.12,500 works out to Rs.694 per sq ft, under the Rs.850 floor for that material, and its 8 by 4 ft GSB at Rs.8,200 is Rs.256 per sq ft, just under the Rs.260 floor. The franchise job at Rs.62,000 for five stainless 3D boards implies 10 to 12 sq ft per board if the band held, or the multi-outlet pricing the page mentions without a figure. Plan on the card and treat a lower quote as a question to ask.

Our Bangalore shop name board page, read on 11 October 2026, prices non-lit flex at Rs.85 to Rs.150 per sq ft, GSB glow sign at Rs.260 to Rs.450, standard ACP at Rs.690 to Rs.950, ACP with 3D acrylic letters at Rs.850 to Rs.1,000 and ACP with stainless steel 3D letters at Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,200. Design, fabrication, transport, installation and the BBMP permit are inside the rate. The page does not state GST, so plan on 18 percent extra until the quote says otherwise.

What does a 10 ft shop board cost in Bangalore?

At a 3 ft board height a 10 ft frontage is 30 sq ft, which on the Bangalore card is Rs.2,550 to Rs.4,500 in non-lit flex, Rs.7,800 to Rs.13,500 in GSB, Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 in standard ACP, Rs.25,500 to Rs.30,000 with 3D acrylic letters and Rs.30,000 to Rs.36,000 with stainless steel letters, on our arithmetic. A 2 ft board costs two thirds of each figure and a 4 ft board a third more. With 18 percent GST the standard ACP figure lands at Rs.24,426 to Rs.33,630.

How much does a 20 ft frontage shop board cost in Bangalore?

Sixty square feet at 3 ft, so Rs.5,100 to Rs.9,000 in flex, Rs.15,600 to Rs.27,000 in GSB, Rs.41,400 to Rs.57,000 in standard ACP, Rs.51,000 to Rs.60,000 with acrylic 3D letters and Rs.60,000 to Rs.72,000 with stainless steel ones, before GST, on our arithmetic from the Bangalore card. The step from 10 ft to 20 ft in ACP adds Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500, the price of a whole second 10 ft board, and the 48-hour lane adds 20 percent, Rs.8,280 to Rs.11,400, on the ACP figure.

Is GST included in Bangalore shop name board prices?

The Bangalore page does not say. It lists design, fabrication, transportation, installation and the BBMP permit as included in the per sq ft rate and does not mention GST either way, while our auto branding and newspaper insertion pages state GST at 18 percent as extra. This guide therefore shows card figures before GST and adds 18 percent as our arithmetic where it matters: a Rs.20,700 to Rs.28,500 ACP board for a 10 ft frontage becomes Rs.24,426 to Rs.33,630. Ask for GST as a separate line on the quotation.
