A Johari Bazaar jeweller on our Jaipur shop name board page had a bright-blue board until the Jaipur Municipal Corporation warned about it. The replacement, a 6 by 3 ft terracotta ACP fascia with gold-finish stainless steel 3D letters, cost Rs.12,800, which is Rs.711 per sq ft on our arithmetic, inside the page's Rs.550 to Rs.850 band for ACP with 3D letters, and the page says it now turns up regularly in tourist photographs. That one job holds the whole Jaipur argument. The card is one card from Johari Bazaar to Vaishali Nagar: ACP Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft, ACP with 3D letters Rs.550 to Rs.850, a dust-sealed GSB glow sign Rs.160 to Rs.300, a non-lit board Rs.50 to Rs.85 and a wedding venue board Rs.500 to Rs.900. What changes street by street is the palette the Walled City allows, who the board is talking to, and which season the fabrication queue is running for. This guide works the page's six zone groups and five demand corridors against that card as read on 25 October 2026, the way our Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad street guides work theirs.
What does the Jaipur shop name board card cost per square foot?
Our shop name board page for Jaipur prices five board lines per square foot and puts the same inclusions under every one: Hindi-English design, desert-rated fabrication, transport, installation and JMC permit handling, with Pink City colour compliance included for Walled City addresses and a 2-year desert-climate structural warranty. The page does not mention GST anywhere, so treat every figure below as before tax until the quote says otherwise. Its materials section specifies PVDF-coated ACP rated for a 90 degree surface temperature and dust abrasion, GSB units in IP65 enclosures with filtered ventilation and LED drivers rated for 50 degree ambient, and it gives the reason: 48 degree summers and the May to June dust storms.
Pink City or standard ACP, PVDF coated, 5 plus year life on the page
The page's typical 4 by 2 ft board: Rs.3,200 to Rs.5,200. Its budget line for Malviya Nagar and Raja Park, where it says Rs.400 ACP dominates, and its compliant line for every Walled City bazaar.
ACP with 3D letters, acrylic or stainless steel, gold finish available
4 by 2 ft: Rs.4,400 to Rs.6,800. The page pairs it with Johari Bazaar jewellers, MI Road restaurants and C-Scheme retail. LED backlight is listed as available but is not priced on the card.
GSB glow sign, dust-sealed IP65, 3 to 5 year life on the page
4 by 2 ft: Rs.1,280 to Rs.2,400. The page's line for pharmacies, night food and MI Road nightlife, with heritage-colour acrylic faces offered for the Walled City.
Wedding venue board, Rajasthani motifs, brass 3D letters, LED welcome board
4 by 2 ft: Rs.4,000 to Rs.7,200. For Sitapura, Mansarovar, Kukas and Amer Road venues, with peak demand November to February on the page.
Non-lit board, 8 to 12 month life on the page
4 by 2 ft: Rs.400 to Rs.680. The budget line; on the page's own life figure it is replaced every year, which the per-year section below prices.
48-hour emergency install, any line
Our arithmetic: the page's Rs.12,800 Johari Bazaar job becomes Rs.15,360 and its Rs.6,200 MI Road job becomes Rs.7,440 if a shutter has to open in two days.
The Jaipur shop name board card as published on the live city page on 25 October 2026, per square foot, with the page's own 4 by 2 ft example beside each line. Inclusions as stated: Hindi-English design, desert-rated fabrication, transport, installation, JMC permits, Pink City compliance for the Walled City, 2-year desert warranty. GST is not mentioned on the page. The with-premium figures are ours.
Which board does each Jaipur street need, and what does it cost at the card?
The page sorts Jaipur into six zone groups, and the colour rule is the first thing that separates them: the Walled City group carries the heritage palette, the other five do not. The table pairs each group with the board the page itself recommends there, an example size we chose to fit the kind of frontage the page describes, and the price that size costs at the card. The frontages are not on the page; the sizes are ours and the prices multiply area by the band. Where the page's own installed job sits in a group, the row says so.
Our pairing of the Jaipur page's six zone groups with its card: palette rule, the board the page recommends, an example size and its price before GST
| Zone group and localities on the page | Colour rule on the page | Board the page pairs with it | Example board, our choice | At the card, our arithmetic | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pink City and Walled City: Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Tripolia, Nehru Bazaar, Hawa Mahal Road | Pink, terracotta and ochre only; JMC removal and Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 fines for bright or neon colours | Terracotta ACP, gold-finish 3D letters for jewellers; heritage-compliant boards for textile and tourist shops | 6 by 3 ft ACP with 3D letters, 18 sq ft | Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300; the page's Johari Bazaar job was Rs.12,800 | |
| Modern commercial: C-Scheme, MI Road, Tonk Road, Malviya Nagar | No Pink City restriction; full creative freedom and 200 plus colours | Premium ACP with 3D letters for restaurants, cafes and boutiques; GSB for MI Road nightlife | 6 by 3 ft GSB, 18 sq ft | Rs.2,880 to Rs.5,400; the page's MI Road job was Rs.6,200 | |
| Wedding belt: Sitapura, Mansarovar, Jagatpura, Kukas, Amer Road | Venue-specific permits; premium gold and cream Rajasthani palette | Wedding venue board with brass 3D letters and an LED-lit welcome board | 10 by 4 ft venue board, 40 sq ft | Rs.20,000 to Rs.36,000; the page's Sitapura job was Rs.28,000 | |
| Tourist retail: Amer Road, Nahargarh Road, City Palace zone, Albert Hall | Heritage compliance where the address is inside the walls; multilingual boards | Photogenic Hindi-English-international boards sized to read in a phone frame | 6 by 2 ft Pink City ACP, 12 sq ft | Rs.4,800 to Rs.7,800 | |
| New growth: Vaishali Nagar, Raja Park, Jhotwara, Sanganer | No heritage restriction; design-forward signage welcomed | Standard Hindi-English ACP; GSB for after-hours clinics and pharmacies | 6 by 3 ft ACP, 18 sq ft | Rs.7,200 to Rs.11,700 | |
| Industrial: Sodala, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Mansarovar industrial | No restriction stated | The page gives no pairing; a trade name legible from a moving vehicle is the brief it describes for wholesale buyers | 8 by 3 ft ACP, 24 sq ft, or the same non-lit | Rs.9,600 to Rs.15,600 in ACP; Rs.1,200 to Rs.2,040 non-lit with an 8 to 12 month life |
Zone groups, localities, colour rules and board pairings as published on the live Jaipur page on 25 October 2026. Example sizes are ours and prices multiply the area by the low and high end of the published band; where the page publishes an installed job in the same group its price is quoted beside ours. The page names no frontage widths and no maximum board size for any zone.
How does the Walled City colour rule change a Johari Bazaar board?
The page's rule is short. Jaipur's Walled City has kept a pink colour scheme since 1876, the JMC enforces it, and boards inside the walls must use approved pink, terracotta and ochre tones; bright blue, neon and fluorescent boards draw removal orders and fines of Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000. The page handles the rule with a colour audit on day one and a Pink City colour certificate at handover, and it says compliance is inside the 5-day timeline rather than a separate delay. We have not checked the JMC's own schedule; the page is the source for the fine band, and it names no maximum board size, no permit fee and no colour codes, which are the three questions to ask on the call before a Johari Bazaar survey.
Price the rule properly and the fine is the smaller number. A 6 by 3 ft jeweller's fascia with 3D letters is Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300 at the card, so a removal order costs the board plus the fine, Rs.10,900 to Rs.20,300 in all, against Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300 for a compliant board the first time. The page's own example is the cleaner version of that arithmetic: the bright-blue board that was warned about was replaced at Rs.12,800, and the replacement is the one that stays up. Its design advice follows from the palette. Visibility in Johari Bazaar comes from typography contrast and metallic 3D letters rather than colour, and its bazaar section, written from a walk from Badi Chaupar down Johari Bazaar to the silver lanes off Chaura Rasta, says the boards that survive decades there do not shout, they signal: a terracotta fascia with restrained gold lettering reads as an establishment to the wedding family arriving on a jeweller's reference and to the tourist deciding in three seconds whether to step in. The page's demand figure for the corridor is about 15 new or renovated boards a month, its highest-volume compliance zone.
Why do Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar boards carry two hierarchies?
The textile side of the Walled City is on the same card and under the same palette, but the page gives it a different brief. Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar shops trade in bandhani, leheriya and Sanganeri block prints, so their boards can carry more visual personality inside the heritage colours, often borrowing motifs from the fabrics, and many of them serve wholesale buyers as well as walk-in customers. That is the page's reason for a split-hierarchy layout: the trade name large at the top, legible from a moving auto for the wholesale visitor who knows the address roughly, and a warmer product story at footpath level for the retail customer, on one board rather than two. An 8 by 3 ft Pink City ACP fascia built that way is 24 sq ft, Rs.9,600 to Rs.15,600 at the card, and Rs.13,200 to Rs.20,400 if the trade name goes up in 3D letters. Tripolia and the Hawa Mahal Road tourist retail strip sit under the same rule with a third audience added, the page's international visitor, which is why it asks for lettering sized to stay legible inside a phone camera frame and tones that sit against the pink sandstone rather than against it.
What earns the GSB premium on MI Road and in C-Scheme after sunset?
Outside the walls the palette opens up and the page's advice turns to light. MI Road and C-Scheme are its busiest corridor at about 20 new stores a month, with no Pink City restriction, premium ACP with 3D letters for restaurants, cafes and boutiques, and GSB for MI Road nightlife; its bazaar section says cafes and boutiques there compete on design and evening presence, so backlit GSB and LED-accented ACP earn their premium after sunset. At the card a 6 by 3 ft dust-sealed GSB is Rs.2,880 to Rs.5,400. The page's own MI Road restaurant job, the same 6 by 3 ft GSB with Hindi-English text, cost Rs.6,200, which is Rs.344 per sq ft and Rs.44 above the top of the band; the page does not explain the gap, and the dust-sealed enclosure it describes for that job is already inside the GSB specification, so the figure to plan on is the card and the figure to ask about is the job. For a C-Scheme boutique the page's pairing is ACP with 3D letters and an LED backlight, which the card lists as available without a price: 8 by 3 ft is Rs.13,200 to Rs.20,400 before whatever the backlight adds.
What do Malviya Nagar, Raja Park and Vaishali Nagar boards have to do instead?
In the page's residential belts the board works for the neighbourhood rather than the passer-by, and its brief changes accordingly: clear Hindi-first lettering, the phone number prominent, and durability that survives years of dust and sun, with no flourish. Malviya Nagar and Raja Park are its price-conscious corridor at about 15 new stores a month, clinics, pharmacies, salons and retail, where it says Rs.400 ACP dominates, and Vaishali Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar add about 10 a month of new retail and cafes. A 6 by 3 ft clinic fascia in ACP is Rs.7,200 to Rs.11,700 at the card; a pharmacy that wants the after-hours light the page recommends pays Rs.2,880 to Rs.5,400 for the same size in GSB.
The budget decision in these belts is between ACP and non-lit, and the page's own life figures settle it. ACP has a 5 plus year life, so Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft is Rs.80 to Rs.130 per sq ft per year on our arithmetic. Non-lit has an 8 to 12 month life, so Rs.50 to Rs.85 per sq ft is Rs.50 to Rs.128 per sq ft per year. At the top of the non-lit band a board replaced every eight months costs the same per year as ACP, with a new survey and install each time; the saving is real only at the bottom of the band and only if the board is temporary. GSB at 3 to 5 years is Rs.32 to Rs.100 per sq ft per year, the cheapest lit option by a distance. Our ten-city cost per year of life guide runs the same method across every city card.
What does a Sitapura wedding venue board cost, and when must it be up?
The wedding belt is the one group where the page prices a separate line. Venue boards run Rs.500 to Rs.900 per sq ft, with ornate Rajasthani borders, gold-finish brass or stainless 3D letters and an LED-lit welcome board for evening baraat arrivals, 5 to 7 days from survey, and the page's Sitapura job, a 10 by 4 ft premium ACP with brass 3D and LED, cost Rs.28,000, Rs.700 per sq ft, inside the band. The same 40 sq ft is Rs.20,000 to Rs.36,000 at the card. The page lists Sitapura, Mansarovar, Jagatpura, Kukas and Amer Road as the belt, Chomu and the Amer palaces as venue zones, and puts demand at about 10 new venues a year with peak orders from November to February. Its timing line is the one to act on: venues on the Sitapura and Kukas belts commission welcome boards before the November sawa dates, so a venue that has not surveyed by the last week of October is ordering into the queue. The page claims 5,000 plus destination weddings a year and the number two wedding destination ranking without a source; we do not plan on either figure, only on the November to February window and the 5 to 7 day build.
How many boards does the Jaipur page say each corridor orders?
The page is unusual among our city pages in publishing a demand count per corridor. Taken at face value, the counts tell a buyer two things: which queue is longest, and how much of the year's volume runs through the compliance zone.
The five highest-demand corridors on our Jaipur shop name board page (read 25 October 2026), the count it gives, our annualised figure, and the board it pairs with each
| Corridor on the page | Count on the page | Per year, our arithmetic | Board the page pairs with it | Price band at the card | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Johari and Bapu Bazaar | About 15 new or renovated boards a month | About 180 | Terracotta ACP with gold-finish 3D letters; Pink City compliance | Rs.550 to Rs.850 per sq ft | |
| MI Road and C-Scheme | About 20 new stores a month | About 240 | Premium ACP with 3D letters; GSB for nightlife | Rs.550 to Rs.850, or Rs.160 to Rs.300 for GSB | |
| Malviya Nagar and Raja Park | About 15 new stores a month | About 180 | Standard Hindi-English ACP and GSB; Rs.400 ACP dominates | Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft | |
| Vaishali and Vidhyadhar Nagar | About 10 new stores a month | About 120 | Standard ACP with Hindi-English; design-forward boards welcomed | Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft | |
| Sitapura wedding belt | About 10 new venues a year | About 10 | Wedding venue board, brass 3D, LED welcome board | Rs.500 to Rs.900 per sq ft |
Counts and pairings as published on the live Jaipur page; the per-year column multiplies the monthly figure by 12. The page gives no source or method for its counts and we have not verified them. On these figures about 720 shop boards and 10 venue boards a year run through the page, a quarter of them inside the Walled City palette.
Two readings follow. First, the MI Road and C-Scheme queue is the longest on the page, which matters because the page's timing section says fabrication slots tighten before the selling seasons and new retail fit-outs peak just after Diwali; a cafe opening on MI Road in late November is competing with about 20 other boards that month. Second, about 180 of the roughly 720 boards a year, one in four, sit inside the Walled City palette, which is why the page runs its colour audit as a standard step rather than a special service.
Do the page's three installed jobs reconcile with its card?
Our arithmetic: the three installed jobs on the Jaipur page, their area, the price the page gives, the per sq ft figure that implies, and where it sits against the card
| Job on the page | Size and area | Price on the page | Per sq ft, our arithmetic | Against the card | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Johari Bazaar jeweller: Pink City ACP with gold stainless 3D letters, replacing a warned bright-blue board | 6 by 3 ft, 18 sq ft | Rs.12,800 | Rs.711 | Inside the Rs.550 to Rs.850 band for ACP with 3D letters, in the upper half | |
| Sitapura wedding venue: premium ACP with brass 3D letters and LED backlighting | 10 by 4 ft, 40 sq ft | Rs.28,000 | Rs.700 | Inside the Rs.500 to Rs.900 wedding venue band, at the midpoint | |
| MI Road restaurant: dust-sealed GSB with Hindi-English text | 6 by 3 ft, 18 sq ft | Rs.6,200 | Rs.344 | Rs.44 above the Rs.300 top of the GSB band; at the band the board is Rs.2,880 to Rs.5,400 |
Jobs, sizes and prices as published on the live Jaipur page on 25 October 2026. The per sq ft figures and the band comparison are ours; the page does not itemise any job.
Two of three reconcile, which is a better record than our Delhi page managed, where the Karol Bagh job also ran above its band. The practical reading is the same in both cities: the card is the planning figure, the installed job is the figure to raise if a GSB quote comes back above Rs.300 per sq ft, and a backlight or an unusual enclosure should appear as its own line rather than disappear into the rate.
Which Jaipur dates can a brief placed on 25 October 2026 still make?
The page's timing section is calendar advice, and it says the rates do not change with the season, only the waiting time does. The table runs its windows against its own lead times from today.
Our arithmetic: the Jaipur windows the page names, what it says happens in each, and what a brief placed on Sunday 25 October 2026 can make at the page's lead times
| Window | What the page says | From a 25 October brief | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diwali, Sunday 8 November 2026 | Jewellers and textile houses refresh fascias in August and September ahead of the Navratri to Diwali run; a shop planning a festive opening should survey a month out | Survey Monday 26 October, ACP or GSB installed by Friday 30 October on the 5-day timeline, non-lit by 29 October; the month-out survey window has passed, so the slot is later in the queue | |
| November sawa dates and the November to February wedding season | Venues on the Sitapura and Kukas belts commission welcome boards before the November sawa dates; venue work takes 5 to 7 days | A venue surveyed on 26 October has its board up between 31 October and 2 November, ahead of the first November dates | |
| Just after Diwali | New retail fit-outs peak just after Diwali and fabrication slots tighten | A board briefed on 9 November joins the longest queue on the page; the 48-hour emergency at a 20 percent premium is the only published way round it | |
| Jaipur Literature Festival, January | Our Jaipur city data lists the festival as an advertising peak; the shop board page does not mention it | An ordinary 5-day job; survey in the first week of December to clear the post-Diwali queue | |
| March to June sun and the May to June dust storms | UV-stabilised ACP for the March to June sun; dust-sealed GSB enclosures for the storms; no install blackout is stated | No change to the lead time on the page; the specification, not the calendar, is what the season affects |
Windows, lead times and advice as published on the live Jaipur page; Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November. The dates on the right are ours and assume the page's standard timelines and no survey backlog, which the page says exists before the selling seasons.
Where do the Jaipur page's numbers stop?
Reading the page as a buyer would, the first gap is size. The page says its day-one survey audits maximum board sizes inside the Walled City, but it publishes no maximum for any zone, no permit fee for the JMC and no colour codes for the approved palette, so a Johari Bazaar board is priced per square foot without the page saying how many square feet are allowed. The second gap is the MI Road job above its band, worked above. The third is the LED backlight, listed as available on the 3D line and present in the Sitapura job, but never priced. The fourth is tax: no GST line anywhere on the page, where our Delhi page is silent too and our national card is explicit.
Four claims need a line on the call rather than a plan. The page's 65 lakh plus tourists a year, its 5,000 plus destination weddings and its number two wedding destination ranking carry no source; its hero says delivery in 5 days while its wedding line says 5 to 7. And the page names one body, the JMC, where our earlier Jaipur cost guide explains that the city is split between Jaipur Heritage and Jaipur Greater Nagar Nigam; the page does not say which of the two handles a Walled City permit. None of this changes what to plan on, which is the card and the palette rule above; it changes which five questions go in the first message: maximum size for the address, permit fee, GST, the backlight price, and which corporation signs the permit.
What would three bookable Jaipur boards look like?
Take a Johari Bazaar jeweller refreshing before the wedding season. A 6 by 3 ft terracotta ACP fascia with gold-finish 3D letters is Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300 at the card, with the colour audit, JMC paperwork and Pink City certificate inside the price and the page's comparable job at Rs.12,800. Survey on Monday 26 October 2026, board up by 31 October to 2 November on the 5 to 7 day 3D timeline, in time for Diwali on 8 November and the sawa dates that follow. The brief is the page's: restrained gold lettering on terracotta, sized for a phone camera frame, the trade name readable from the lane.
Or take a cafe opening on MI Road in the second week of November. A 6 by 3 ft dust-sealed GSB is Rs.2,880 to Rs.5,400 at the card; if the quote comes back near the page's Rs.6,200 job, ask what the extra Rs.44 per sq ft buys. Survey in the last week of October to stay ahead of the post-Diwali fit-out peak the page warns about, five days to install, Hindi-English copy with the evening trade in mind. If the opening slips and the shutter has to go up in two days, the 48-hour emergency takes the same board to Rs.3,456 to Rs.6,480.
Or take a Raja Park clinic that wants a board for five years. A 6 by 3 ft ACP fascia is Rs.7,200 to Rs.11,700, Hindi-first with the phone number prominent as the page advises for the residential belts, and Rs.1,440 to Rs.2,340 a year over the page's 5-year life. The same clinic in non-lit is Rs.900 to Rs.1,530, replaced every 8 to 12 months, which is Rs.900 to Rs.2,295 a year with a fresh install each time. Across all three, the same five questions go first: maximum size for the address, permit fee, GST, the backlight price, and which corporation signs the permit.
Is a Hindi line required on a Jaipur shop board?
The page states no language rule for Jaipur. It includes Hindi-English design in every price, recommends Hindi-first lettering with a prominent phone number in the residential belts of Malviya Nagar, Raja Park and Vaishali Nagar, and multilingual Hindi, English and international copy for tourist retail near Hawa Mahal and Amer Road, but it presents all of that as design advice rather than a permit condition. Only the colour palette inside the Walled City is described as enforced. Ask the JMC question on the call if a single-language English board is planned.
What is the fine for a non-compliant shop board in Johari Bazaar?
The page gives Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 plus a removal order for boards inside the Walled City that use bright blue, neon or fluorescent colours instead of the approved pink, terracotta and ochre tones. The removal is the larger cost: a 6 by 3 ft fascia with 3D letters is Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300 at the card, so a removed board plus the fine runs Rs.10,900 to Rs.20,300. We have not verified the fine band against the JMC's own schedule; the page is the source, and its own example is a bright-blue board replaced at Rs.12,800 after a warning.
Does the Jaipur shop board card change between the Walled City and MI Road?
No. The page prices ACP at Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft, ACP with 3D letters at Rs.550 to Rs.850, GSB at Rs.160 to Rs.300 and non-lit at Rs.50 to Rs.85 for every address, and its comparison table shows the same Rs.400 to Rs.850 range for Pink City ACP and standard ACP. What changes is the palette, pink, terracotta and ochre inside the walls against 200 plus colours outside, and the board the page recommends, 3D letters for Johari Bazaar jewellers and GSB for MI Road nightlife. Pink City compliance is included for Walled City addresses rather than charged.
What does a typical 4 by 2 ft shop board cost in Jaipur?
The page's own example size is 4 by 2 ft, 8 sq ft, and it prices it on every line: Rs.3,200 to Rs.5,200 in Pink City or standard ACP, Rs.4,400 to Rs.6,800 with 3D letters, Rs.1,280 to Rs.2,400 as a dust-sealed GSB glow sign, Rs.4,000 to Rs.7,200 as a wedding venue board and Rs.400 to Rs.680 non-lit. Those figures include Hindi-English design, fabrication, transport, installation and JMC permits, with a 2-year desert warranty. The page does not mention GST, so confirm whether the quote is before or after tax.
How long does a GSB glow sign last in Jaipur's heat and dust?
Three to five years on the page, against 5 plus years for ACP and 8 to 12 months for non-lit. The page specifies an IP65 enclosure with dust-sealed joints and filtered ventilation for the May to June dust storms, LED drivers rated for 50 degree ambient and heat-tolerant acrylic faces, and it says boards built to milder-climate specifications warp or fade within their first Jaipur summer. On our arithmetic the Rs.160 to Rs.300 band over that life is Rs.32 to Rs.100 per sq ft per year, the cheapest lit option on the card.
Which Jaipur corporation handles the Walled City permit?
The page does not say. It names the JMC throughout and includes permit handling and a Pink City colour certificate in every Walled City price, but our earlier Jaipur cost guide explains that the city has two municipal corporations, Jaipur Heritage and Jaipur Greater Nagar Nigam, and the Walled City bazaars fall on the Heritage side of that split. The page publishes no permit fee and no approval time for either body, so ask which corporation signs the permit and whether a fee sits outside the per sq ft rate before the survey.

Quick Answers
How much does a shop name board cost in Jaipur per square foot?
Rs.400 to Rs.650 per sq ft for ACP, Rs.550 to Rs.850 with 3D letters, Rs.160 to Rs.300 for a dust-sealed GSB glow sign, Rs.50 to Rs.85 non-lit and Rs.500 to Rs.900 for a wedding venue board, the same card from Johari Bazaar to Vaishali Nagar on our Jaipur page as read on 25 October 2026. Every price includes Hindi-English design, fabrication, transport, installation and JMC permits, with Pink City colour compliance included inside the Walled City and a 2-year desert warranty. The page does not mention GST. A 6 by 3 ft jeweller's fascia with 3D letters is Rs.9,900 to Rs.15,300.
Which colours does the Walled City allow on a Jaipur shop board?
Approved pink, terracotta and ochre tones, under the colour scheme the page says Jaipur's Walled City has kept since 1876 and the JMC enforces in Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Tripolia, Nehru Bazaar and on Hawa Mahal Road. Bright blue, neon and fluorescent boards draw removal orders and fines of Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 on the page. Visibility inside the palette comes from typography contrast and metallic 3D letters, which is how the page's Johari Bazaar jeweller replaced a warned bright-blue board with a Rs.12,800 terracotta and gold fascia. Outside the walls, on MI Road and in C-Scheme, the page allows 200 plus colours.
How fast can a Jaipur shop board be installed before Diwali 2026?
Five days from survey for ACP and GSB, 3 days for non-lit and 5 to 7 days for wedding venue work on the page, with a 48-hour emergency install at a 20 percent premium. A survey on Monday 26 October 2026 therefore puts an ACP or GSB board up by Friday 30 October and a 3D or venue board by 31 October to 2 November, ahead of Diwali on 8 November and the November sawa dates. The page warns that jewellers refresh fascias in August and September and that fit-outs peak just after Diwali, so the slot is later in the queue than a September brief would have been.
