Nine in the morning on Hazratganj is where our Lucknow van page puts its first corridor run of the day. Its route notes send the van down the Hazratganj and Vidhan Sabha corridor from 9 AM to 12 PM, while offices and the High Court are working, and close the day with a 5 to 8 PM loop through Gomti Nagar and an evening sweep of the Aliganj and Indira Nagar colonies. In between, Charbagh station peaks from 8 to 10 AM and 4 to 7 PM, and the Aminabad and Chowk bazaars trade through midday. That is five zone groups and five time windows on one page, priced on one card: a T-Shape van at Rs.8,000 one-time fabrication plus Rs.3,000 a day, an L-Shape at Rs.20,000 plus Rs.3,500, and an LED display truck at Rs.10,000 plus Rs.7,500, falling to Rs.2,700, Rs.3,000 and Rs.7,000 a day from 10 days. The minimum booking is one day and GST is extra, so the cheapest Lucknow van day is Rs.11,000 before GST. Our earlier Lucknow van guide worked out which format is cheapest at each booking length. This guide does the other half: which van the page puts on which zone, at which hour, how many vans and days a zone plan really needs, and when to book around Lucknow Mahotsav and Eid. Every rate, zone, window and deployment below is read from the live Lucknow service page on 16 October 2026; every total is our arithmetic and marked as ours.
How does our Lucknow page divide the city into van zones?
The Lucknow page does not price by zone. There is one card for the whole city, and the zone list is a planning map, not a rate table. It names five groups and says they cover more than 15 LMC zones, though it publishes no LMC zone numbers or ward map, so we use its own group names and the localities it lists under each. Kaiserbagh appears in two groups, the Government Corridor and Old Lucknow, which is accurate to the city: it sits between the Hazratganj offices and the old bazaars.
The five Lucknow van zone groups, as named on our live Lucknow service page (16 October 2026)
| Zone group | Localities the page names | Format the page points here | Window the page gives | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Government Corridor | Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha, Raj Bhavan, GPO, Kaiserbagh | L-Shape | 9 AM to 12 PM; the FAQ widens it to 9 AM to 5 PM | |
| New Lucknow | Gomti Nagar, Vibhuti Khand, Shaheed Path, Gomti Nagar Extension | L-Shape on the arterials; T-Shape in the colony plans | 5 to 8 PM commercial loop | |
| Old Lucknow | Aminabad, Chowk, Nakhas, Husainabad, Kaiserbagh | T-Shape | Midday trade, with market-day pushes in festival seasons | |
| Residential Clusters | Aliganj, Indira Nagar, Mahanagar, Jankipuram, Rajajipuram | T-Shape | Morning and evening colony loops, the evening walk window | |
| Transit and Industrial | Charbagh, Amausi, Chinhat Industrial, Alambagh | Not assigned on the page | Charbagh 8 to 10 AM and 4 to 7 PM |
Two things are worth noticing before money is spent. First, the format column is not a rule the page enforces; it is the page's advice. Unlike our Jaipur page, which says a full-size canter physically cannot turn in the Walled City lanes, the Lucknow page sets no format restriction on any zone. Its Old Lucknow advice is softer: a van cannot enter every gali of Aminabad, Chowk, Nakhas or Yahiyaganj, so the route crawls the ring roads around the bazaars timed to market hours. Second, the Transit and Industrial group is the only one without a recommended format. Charbagh is a station approach and Amausi is the airport road, so the choice there is between the L-Shape's three faces on a slow approach and the T-Shape's raised board over traffic. The page leaves that to the brief.
The page also lists 15 single localities as its best areas for van advertising, extending the groups outward: Vikas Nagar, Faizabad Road towards Ayodhya, Kanpur Road with its factories and worker population, and Chinhat as the eastern gateway. None of them carries a different rate. For planning, they are where a second or third van goes once the five core groups are covered.
Which van does each Lucknow zone get, and what does a day of it cost?
T-Shape centre board van
One raised board, which the page says sits above Lucknow's auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw traffic. Pointed at Aliganj, Indira Nagar and the Aminabad market perimeter. One day: Rs.11,000 before GST.
L-Shape box van
Three branded faces on a Tata 407 chassis with vinyl rated for 47°C. Pointed at the Hazratganj boulevard, Vidhan Sabha Road and the Gomti Nagar arterials. One day: Rs.23,500 before GST.
LED display truck
P6 LED panels at 5,500 nits with Hindi voiceover and Urdu subtitles. Pointed at Lucknow Mahotsav, government events and Eid-season activations. One day: Rs.17,500 before GST.
The Mediaverse published Lucknow mobile van card, read from the live Lucknow service page on 2026-10-16. Fabrication is one-time per creative; day rates are per van per day; the reduced rate applies to bookings of 10 days or more. Minimum booking 1 day. GST extra. The day rate covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, LMC permits, GPS tracking and daily Hindi photo reports. One-day totals are our arithmetic.
Read the card by zone and the cost of a zone-day is simply the day rate of the van the page sends there. A Government Corridor day on an L-Shape is Rs.3,500, or Rs.3,000 inside a booking of 10 days or more. An Aminabad or Aliganj day on a T-Shape is Rs.3,000, or Rs.2,700. A Mahotsav ground day on the LED truck is Rs.7,500, or Rs.7,000. Fabrication is paid once per van per creative, so it is a cost of the van, not of the zone. That distinction drives everything in the next two sections: moving a van between zones costs nothing extra, while adding a van costs a new fabrication.
The page bundles a lot into the day rate. It lists design coordination, LMC permits, heat-proof installation, GPS tracking and daily Hindi photo reports, says all vans support Hindi creative at no extra cost, and says go-live is 48 hours from artwork approval. It publishes no separate permit fee for the Hazratganj or Vidhan Sabha routes, which it describes as pre-cleared, so none is added in any total here.
Can one van cover Hazratganj, Charbagh and Gomti Nagar in a day?
Not at their peaks. Lay the page's windows on one clock and they collide twice. Charbagh's morning peak, 8 to 10 AM, overlaps the Hazratganj run, 9 AM to 12 PM, by an hour. Charbagh's evening peak, 4 to 7 PM, overlaps the Gomti Nagar loop, 5 to 8 PM, by two hours. The residential sweep through Aliganj and Indira Nagar sits in the same evening walk window as Gomti Nagar. A single van can visit all of these places in a 35 km day, which is the route length the page gives, but it can only be at one of them when each is busiest.
The page's Lucknow time windows on one clock, and what a single van can hold (our reading)
| Window | Where the page sends the van | Clashes with | One van can hold | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 to 10 AM | Charbagh station approach | Hazratganj from 9 AM | Charbagh or Hazratganj in the 9 to 10 AM hour, not both | |
| 9 AM to 12 PM | Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha Road, Raj Bhavan | Charbagh until 10 AM | Yes, from 10 AM | |
| Midday | Aminabad, Chowk and Nakhas ring roads | None on the page | Yes | |
| 4 to 7 PM | Charbagh station approach | Gomti Nagar from 5 PM | Charbagh until 5 PM | |
| 5 to 8 PM | Gomti Nagar loop; Aliganj and Indira Nagar evening sweep | Charbagh until 7 PM, and each other | One of the two |
From that clock, three single-van days follow naturally, and each fits one format. The bazaar-and-colony day is a T-Shape: a morning colony loop through Aliganj and Indira Nagar, the Aminabad and Chowk perimeter through midday, and back to the colonies for the evening walk window. The institutional day is an L-Shape: Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha Road and the Secretariat approach from 9 AM, and the Gomti Nagar arterials from 5 PM. The station day is either format on the Charbagh approach at both peaks, with Alambagh between them. These are our constructions from the page's windows, not GPS logs from a past Lucknow campaign, and the page does not publish one.
The practical answer for a brand that wants the government corridor, the station and the evening colonies at their peaks is two vans, not one. That is also what the page's own plans do: none of the three deployments it costs uses fewer than two vans, and the founder recommendation on the page uses three.
How many vans and days does a Lucknow zone plan need?
Because fabrication is charged per van, the same number of van-days can cost different amounts depending on how they are arranged. Take the plan the page recommends to a brand new to Lucknow: three T-Shape vans across Aliganj for mass residential, Gomti Nagar for premium households and Aminabad for the wholesale trade, for 30 days. That is 90 van-days, and the page prices it at Rs.2,67,000 before GST: Rs.24,000 of fabrication plus 90 van-days at Rs.2,700. Now hold the zones fixed and change the arrangement.
Our arithmetic: three Lucknow zones on T-Shape vans, arranged four ways, before GST
| Arrangement | Van-days | Calendar days | Fabrication | Day rate | Total | Per van-day | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One van rotating, 10 days per zone | 30 | 30 | Rs.8,000 | Rs.2,700 | Rs.89,000 | Rs.2,967 | |
| Three vans for 10 days, one per zone | 30 | 10 | Rs.24,000 | Rs.2,700 | Rs.1,05,000 | Rs.3,500 | |
| Three vans for 9 days, one per zone | 27 | 9 | Rs.24,000 | Rs.3,000 | Rs.1,05,000 | Rs.3,889 | |
| Three vans for 30 days, the page's plan | 90 | 30 | Rs.24,000 | Rs.2,700 | Rs.2,67,000 | Rs.2,967 |
Three findings come out of that table. One: rotating one van and running the page's three-van plan cost exactly the same per van-day, Rs.2,967, because each van carries one Rs.8,000 fabrication over 30 days. What the extra Rs.1,78,000 in the page's plan buys is not cheaper days but three times the frequency in every zone for the whole month. Two: compressing the same 30 van-days into 10 calendar days costs Rs.1,05,000, Rs.16,000 more than the rotation, and that Rs.16,000 is exactly two extra fabrications. It is the price of a launch that hits all three zones in the same week. Three: at the slab edge, three vans for 9 days cost the same Rs.1,05,000 as three vans for 10 days, because the tenth day drops the rate from Rs.3,000 to Rs.2,700 across the whole booking. If the plan is 9 days, book 10.
For the L-Shape the fabrication is two and a half times larger, so the arrangement matters more. One L-Shape rotating between Hazratganj and the Gomti Nagar arterials for 30 days costs Rs.1,10,000 before GST. Two L-Shapes for 15 days each, one per zone, cost Rs.1,30,000: Rs.40,000 of fabrication plus 30 van-days at Rs.3,000. The Rs.20,000 gap is the second fabrication. The page's own government-corridor deployment uses two L-Shapes for 45 days, which spreads that second fabrication over 90 van-days.
What do the page's three Lucknow deployments cost per zone?
The Lucknow page publishes three costed deployments. None names a client, and each lists a goal rather than a result, so they are useful as worked budgets and nothing more. We have checked each total against the card, added GST at 18 percent and divided by van-days and by zones.
The three Lucknow deployments on our live page, landed (our arithmetic; goals as published, no results published)
| Deployment | Vans and days | Zones | Before GST | With 18 percent GST | Per van-day | Per zone, before GST | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FMCG snack pilot before a wider UP rollout | 4 T-Shape for 30 days | Aliganj, Indira Nagar, Gomti Nagar, Mahanagar | Rs.3,56,000 | Rs.4,20,080 | Rs.2,967 | Rs.89,000 | |
| EdTech, government corridor | 2 L-Shape for 45 days | Hazratganj and Vidhan Sabha; Gomti Nagar IT stretch | Rs.3,10,000 | Rs.3,65,800 | Rs.3,444 | Rs.1,55,000 | |
| Gomti Nagar Extension township, no QR codes | 3 T-Shape for 30 days | Aliganj, Indira Nagar, Gomti Nagar evening | Rs.2,67,000 | Rs.3,15,060 | Rs.2,967 | Rs.89,000 |
The totals reconcile with the card: Rs.32,000 of fabrication plus 120 van-days at Rs.2,700 is Rs.3,56,000, and Rs.40,000 plus 90 van-days at Rs.3,000 is Rs.3,10,000. Note the zone mix. The FMCG and township plans put T-Shapes into Gomti Nagar, while the rate card sends the L-Shape to the Gomti Nagar arterial. Both readings hold: Gomti Nagar has colony roads for a T-Shape and Shaheed Path and Vibhuti Khand for an L-Shape, and the brief decides which. The township deployment also ran without QR codes, relying on phone enquiries, which the page says was deliberate. If the brief needs attribution, the creative needs a number or a code that can be tracked; the page does not publish how the enquiries in that campaign were counted.
When should a Lucknow van be booked around Mahotsav, Eid and weddings?
The page gives four seasonal anchors and one hard booking rule. Lucknow Mahotsav runs for 10 days in November to December at Laxman Mela Ground, and the page says LED ground positions need 14 days' advance booking. Eid seasons lift the Aminabad, Chowk and Nakhas markets, where it recommends T-Shape vans and Hindi-Urdu creative. The wedding season runs November to February, with routes through Aminabad and Hazratganj. Election seasons push demand up, and the page recommends booking early but publishes no surcharge. Standard routes go live 48 hours from artwork approval.
The page does not give this year's Mahotsav dates, so we will not either. The 14-day rule is easy to apply once they are announced: for a ground day on 1 December, the LED truck has to be booked by 17 November; for 20 December, by 6 December. The page states no premium for Mahotsav, Eid or election weeks, and its pricing note says Hazratganj and Gomti Nagar routes are at standard rates. So the seasonal risk in Lucknow is availability, not price. A 10-day LED truck through Mahotsav costs Rs.80,000 before GST, Rs.10,000 of fabrication plus 10 days at Rs.7,000, whether it is booked on day 15 or day 30 before.
Lucknow's booking calendar on the live page (16 October 2026)
| Season or event | When, per the page | Format the page points to | Booking rule or note | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lucknow Mahotsav | November to December, 10 days, Laxman Mela Ground | LED display truck | 14 days' notice for LED ground positions; no premium stated | |
| Eid seasons | Several in the year; no dates given | T-Shape through Aminabad, Chowk and Nakhas | Hindi-Urdu creative; no premium stated | |
| Wedding season | November to February | Routes through Aminabad and Hazratganj | No premium or lead time stated | |
| Election seasons | Not dated | Not specified | Demand surges; book early; no surcharge published | |
| Any standard route | Year-round | All three | Live 48 hours from artwork approval |
Two weather notes on the page affect when a van runs rather than what it costs. It says a Lucknow van sits in 45°C-plus loo winds through May and June, and specifies vinyl heat-rated to 50°C, sealed panel edges and IP65 enclosures on LED trucks. It also says fabricated panels hold their finish for 12 months or more. That last line matters for repeat bookings: the page charges fabrication once per creative, but it does not say whether a second booking months later with the same creative pays fabrication again. If a brand plans a Mahotsav run and an Eid run with one design, ask for that in writing, because on an L-Shape it is a Rs.20,000 question.
Does a Hindi-Urdu creative for Old Lucknow cost a second fabrication?
The page recommends Hindi-first creative for New Lucknow and Hindi-Urdu bilingual creative for Old Lucknow, and its creative advice is specific: write the copy in Hindi from the start rather than translating it, keep the offer concrete with a price, a location and a phone number, and leave white space so the panel reads as an established brand rather than a bazaar poster. All vans support Hindi creative at no extra cost.
The cost question is whether two language versions are two creatives. On a T-Shape or L-Shape, the panel is printed, and the card charges fabrication once per creative, so on our reading a van that switches from a Hindi panel in Gomti Nagar to a Hindi-Urdu panel in Aminabad pays two fabrications: Rs.16,000 on a T-Shape or Rs.40,000 on an L-Shape. The cheaper route is one bilingual panel used city-wide, which pays fabrication once. The LED truck runs video, and the page offers Hindi voiceover and Urdu subtitles on it, but it does not say whether a second video file counts as a second creative. That is worth confirming before booking a Mahotsav truck that will also run in Old Lucknow.
What else could the same money buy in Lucknow?
A van is the only outdoor format we sell that can be booked for a single day. Every other Lucknow format has a minimum order on the national cards, and those minimums set the price of entry. Here is the smallest bookable order in each, next to two van plans, with GST at 18 percent added by us.
Smallest Lucknow orders by format, against two van plans (published cards; totals our arithmetic)
| Format | Smallest bookable order | Before GST | With 18 percent GST | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile van, T-Shape | 1 day | Rs.11,000 | Rs.12,980 | |
| No-parking boards | 1,000 boards at Rs.45 | Rs.45,000 | Rs.53,100 | |
| Newspaper insertion, A5 | 50,000 inserts at Rs.1.25 | Rs.62,500 | Rs.73,750 | |
| Auto back panel, 24x6 inch | 500 autos at Rs.170 | Rs.85,000 | Rs.1,00,300 | |
| Mobile van, one T-Shape for 30 days | 30 days | Rs.89,000 | Rs.1,05,020 | |
| Auto full hood | 300 autos at Rs.650 | Rs.1,95,000 | Rs.2,30,100 | |
| Mobile van, the page's three-zone plan | 3 T-Shape vans for 30 days | Rs.2,67,000 | Rs.3,15,060 |
The comparison is about commitment, not reach, because the page's reach figures are not something we plan on (see the next section). A single T-Shape for a month costs about the same as the smallest auto back-panel order and less than half the smallest hood order. The difference is control: the van goes where the time windows say and moves when the brief changes, while 500 back panels go wherever their autos drive. Our Lucknow auto guide covers the colony-grid case for the 300-hood order, and the two formats are often paired: autos for daily frequency in the colonies, a van for the corridor days.
Which figures on the Lucknow page do we not plan on?
Our Lucknow page carries several figures that this guide does not use for planning, because the page gives no method or source for them. We list them so a buyer can see what is card and what is claim.
Claims on the live Lucknow page this guide does not price on (16 October 2026)
| Claim on the page | Why we do not plan on it | |
|---|---|---|
| 55,000 to 1,00,000 daily views per van, and Rs.30 to Rs.55 per 1,000 views | Labelled as an estimate; no counting method published | |
| 1.5 lakh daily footfall at Hazratganj, 1.2 lakh and 2 lakh daily vehicles at Vibhuti Khand and Aliganj, 3 lakh daily passengers at Charbagh | No source given | |
| Average dwell of 15 to 25 minutes at five junctions | Described as route experience; no logs published | |
| A 22 crore UP consumer market, and FMCG brands expanding within 90 days of a Lucknow test | Context, not a campaign outcome; no source given | |
| Lucknow rates 20 to 30 percent lower than Tier 1 metros, and the cheapest state capital | Our Mumbai van page publishes the identical card: Rs.8,000 plus Rs.3,000, Rs.20,000 plus Rs.3,500, Rs.10,000 plus Rs.7,500 | |
| A Nawabi word-of-mouth effect that lowers the effective cost per contact | The page itself says it cannot be metered precisely | |
| A Government Special van format in the quick facts | Listed, but not priced anywhere on the page |
The pricing claim is the one that matters for a budget. The live Mumbai van page lists exactly the same three formats at exactly the same fabrication and day rates as Lucknow, so on our own cards a Lucknow van day costs what a Mumbai van day costs. The page's FAQ explains Lucknow's value through lower running overheads, but that does not show up as a lower rate. Plan on the card, which is national for these three formats in both cities, and treat the 20 to 30 percent line as out of date until the page is corrected.
Lucknow van route planning: questions buyers ask
Which van should run on Hazratganj and Vidhan Sabha Road in Lucknow?
Our Lucknow page points the L-Shape box van at the Hazratganj boulevard and the Vidhan Sabha and Secretariat approach, running 9 AM to 12 PM while offices and the High Court are working, and its FAQ widens that to a 9 AM to 5 PM working-hours circuit. The L-Shape costs Rs.20,000 one-time fabrication plus Rs.3,500 a day, or Rs.3,000 a day from 10 days, plus GST. The page publishes no separate permit fee for this corridor and describes the routes as pre-cleared.
Is there a premium for Lucknow Mahotsav or Eid van bookings?
Not on the live page. It names Lucknow Mahotsav in November to December and the Eid seasons as peak demand periods and says LED ground positions need 14 days' advance booking, but it states no premium, and its pricing note keeps Hazratganj and Gomti Nagar at standard rates. The seasonal risk is availability. A 10-day LED truck through Mahotsav costs Rs.80,000 before GST at Rs.10,000 fabrication plus Rs.7,000 a day.
Can a van enter Aminabad and Chowk in Lucknow?
Partly. The page says a van cannot enter every gali of Aminabad, Chowk, Nakhas or Yahiyaganj, so its Old Lucknow route crawls the ring roads around the bazaars through midday, when trade peaks. It points the T-Shape van there, at Rs.8,000 fabrication plus Rs.3,000 a day, with Hindi-Urdu bilingual creative. Unlike our Jaipur page for the Walled City, it does not restrict any format in Old Lucknow.
Is it cheaper to rotate one van across Lucknow zones or run several vans?
Per van-day it can be the same, because fabrication is charged per van. One T-Shape rotating across three zones for 30 days costs Rs.89,000 before GST, and the page's three-van, 30-day plan costs Rs.2,67,000; both work out at Rs.2,967 a van-day. Three vans for 10 days cost Rs.1,05,000, Rs.16,000 more than the rotation, which is two extra fabrications for hitting every zone in the same week.
How far ahead should a Lucknow van be booked?
For a standard route, the page says vans go live 48 hours from artwork approval. LED ground positions for Lucknow Mahotsav need 14 days' notice, so a truck for a 1 December ground day has to be booked by 17 November. The page also says multi-van test-market bookings peak in the third and fourth quarters and that election seasons push demand up, without stating a lead time for either.
Booking a Lucknow van route
Bring three things to a Lucknow quote: the zone groups you need at their peaks, which tells you how many vans; the number of days, which tells you whether you are on the 10-day slab; and the language versions, which tells you how many creatives you are fabricating. The rates are on the Lucknow service page and on our national van hub. If the plan is 9 days, ask for 10. If it is a Mahotsav LED truck, book 14 days out. And if a quote mentions a zone premium or a Lucknow discount against the metros, ask for it in writing, because neither is on the card.

Quick Answers
How much does mobile van branding cost in Lucknow per day?
On our live 2026 Lucknow card a T-Shape van is Rs.3,000 a day plus Rs.8,000 one-time fabrication, an L-Shape box van Rs.3,500 plus Rs.20,000, and an LED display truck Rs.7,500 plus Rs.10,000. From 10 days the rates fall to Rs.2,700, Rs.3,000 and Rs.7,000. The minimum is one day, so the cheapest single day is Rs.11,000 on a T-Shape, plus 18 percent GST. The page publishes no zone premium.
Which Lucknow areas does a branded van cover, and at what time?
Our Lucknow page names five zone groups. The Government Corridor of Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha and Raj Bhavan runs 9 AM to 12 PM; the Gomti Nagar loop 5 to 8 PM; the Aminabad, Chowk and Nakhas bazaar perimeter through midday; the Aliganj and Indira Nagar colonies in the evening walk window; and the Charbagh station approach at 8 to 10 AM and 4 to 7 PM. The same card applies in every zone.
How many vans does a Lucknow campaign need?
For more than one corridor at its peak, at least two. The page's windows overlap: Charbagh's morning peak runs into the 9 AM Hazratganj run and its evening peak into the 5 to 8 PM Gomti Nagar loop. Every deployment on the page uses 2 to 4 vans, and its recommended start is three T-Shape vans in Aliganj, Gomti Nagar and Aminabad for 30 days, Rs.2,67,000 before GST.
