At the GMDC Ground on the ninth night of Navratri, the garba crowd thins a little before midnight and the LED truck on the exit road finishes its last circuit of the festival. On the booking our Ahmedabad van page publishes for exactly that truck, the arithmetic is short: Rs.10,000 one-time fabrication plus nine nights at Rs.7,500, which is Rs.77,500 before GST. Ask for one more day and the whole booking moves onto the 10-day rate of Rs.7,000, so ten days cost Rs.80,000. The tenth day costs Rs.2,500, a third of a normal day. That small cliff sits exactly where Ahmedabad's biggest festival ends, and it is the clearest reason to price van branding in this city by booking length before you price it by format. This guide works the live Ahmedabad card day by day, lands the three scenarios the page publishes with GST, prices the three-van starter fleet the page recommends, and lists what the card does not say.
What does mobile van branding cost in Ahmedabad in 2026?
Every Ahmedabad van booking is billed in two parts. Fabrication is charged once per van and pays for building your creative onto the vehicle in sealed-edge vinyl with UV-stable lamination, or into a dust-sealed LED enclosure. The day rate then covers the van on its route for each day it runs. The page publishes a daily route of about 42 km, AMC permits handled by us, GPS tracking with geo-tagged photos, daily reports in Gujarati and English, and vans on the road within 48 hours of artwork approval. The minimum booking is one day, GST at 18 percent is added, and the same card applies in every AMC zone.
T-Shape centre board van
One elevated panel above the cab. The page sends it into the Maninagar, Kalupur and Sarangpur wholesale lanes. One day: Rs.11,000 before GST.
L-Shape box van
Branding on three faces. The page uses it for the SG Highway run from Thaltej to Bopal and for GIFT City. One day: Rs.23,500 before GST.
LED display truck
Video and audio with Gujarati voiceover. The page books it for Navratri garba circuits, Uttarayan and GIFT City event weeks. One day: Rs.17,500 before GST.
The Mediaverse published Ahmedabad mobile van card, 2026, read from the live Ahmedabad service page. Fabrication is one-time per van; day rates apply per van per day; the reduced rate applies to bookings of 10 days or more. GST 18 percent extra. The one-day totals are our arithmetic.
Two things fall out of the card before any route is drawn. Fabrication dominates a short booking: it is 73 percent of a one-day T-Shape, 85 percent of a one-day L-Shape and 57 percent of a one-day LED truck. And the three formats swap places on short bookings, which our Lucknow guide worked through on an identical card, so we do not repeat it here. What is specific to Ahmedabad is where the 10-day line falls against the city's own calendar.
Why can ten days cost less than nine in Ahmedabad?
Because the reduced rate applies to the whole booking once it reaches 10 days, not only to the days after the tenth. A nine-day booking pays the headline rate on all nine days; a ten-day booking pays the lower rate on all ten. On two of the three Ahmedabad formats that is enough to make the tenth day free or better.
Our arithmetic: 8, 9 and 10 day bookings on the Ahmedabad card, one van, before GST
| Format | 8 days | 9 days | 10 days | What days 9 and 10 cost over an 8 day booking | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T-Shape | Rs.32,000 | Rs.35,000 | Rs.35,000 | Rs.3,000 for both; the tenth day is free | |
| L-Shape | Rs.48,000 | Rs.51,500 | Rs.50,000 | Rs.2,000 for both; ten days cost Rs.1,500 less than nine | |
| LED display truck | Rs.70,000 | Rs.77,500 | Rs.80,000 | Rs.10,000 for both; the tenth day alone costs Rs.2,500 |
The break points are easy to check. Nine T-Shape days at Rs.3,000 are Rs.27,000 of running cost, exactly ten days at Rs.2,700. Nine L-Shape days at Rs.3,500 are Rs.31,500, more than ten at Rs.3,000; the L-Shape crosses the line at about 8.6 days. The LED truck never quite crosses: it would need about 9.3 days at Rs.7,500 to match ten at Rs.7,000, so a nine-night LED booking stays Rs.2,500 cheaper than ten. The practical rule for an Ahmedabad quote is simple. At 8 days or more, ask for the 10-day price on the same sheet. On a T-Shape or an L-Shape, never book 9 days. On an LED truck, decide whether a tenth day at Rs.2,500 has a use, because it usually does.
What do the three published Ahmedabad scenarios cost after GST?
The Ahmedabad page publishes three costed scenarios, each with an audience, a route and a goal. It names no clients and publishes no results for any of them, so read them as costings of real route plans rather than as case studies. Here they are landed.
Our arithmetic: the three rate-card scenarios on the Ahmedabad page, before and after 18 percent GST
| Scenario | Format and length | Before GST | With GST | Per day, all in, before GST | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Navratri garba circuit (GMDC Ground, club grounds, SG Highway venues) | LED truck, 9 nights at Rs.7,500 | Rs.77,500 | Rs.91,450 | Rs.8,611 | |
| GIFT City gate approach and SG Highway, Thaltej to Satellite | L-Shape, 14 days at Rs.3,000 | Rs.62,000 | Rs.73,160 | Rs.4,429 | |
| Naroda GIDC gate, Vatva entrance, Odhav road | T-Shape, 30 days at Rs.2,700 | Rs.89,000 | Rs.1,05,020 | Rs.2,967 |
Three readings. The 30-day GIDC T-Shape costs Rs.2,967 a day all in, below its own Rs.3,000 headline, because 30 days of the Rs.300 discount, Rs.9,000, more than repay the Rs.8,000 fabrication. The 14-day GIFT City L-Shape still carries Rs.20,000 of fabrication inside a Rs.62,000 booking, 32 percent of the bill, so the L-Shape earns its canvas only on longer runs. And the Navratri truck is the only scenario booked below the 10-day line, which is where the tenth-day question in the previous section comes from. Taking the tenth day moves the landed total from Rs.91,450 to Rs.94,400, Rs.2,950 with GST, for a day that falls straight after the ninth night.
How much does the recommended three-van starter fleet cost for a month?
The page's own starter recommendation for a serious Ahmedabad entry is two L-Shape vans holding the SG Highway spine on morning and evening runs, plus one T-Shape working the Maninagar wholesale loop. It prices that at Rs.10,000 a day in running cost, two times Rs.3,500 plus Rs.3,000, and Rs.48,000 of one-time fabrication across the three vans. The Rs.10,000 is the headline rate. From 10 days the same fleet runs at two times Rs.3,000 plus Rs.2,700, which is Rs.8,700 a day.
Our arithmetic: the three-van starter fleet by booking length (two L-Shape, one T-Shape)
| Booking length | Running cost | Fabrication | Before GST | With 18 percent GST | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 day | Rs.10,000 | Rs.48,000 | Rs.58,000 | Rs.68,440 | |
| 7 days | Rs.70,000 | Rs.48,000 | Rs.1,18,000 | Rs.1,39,240 | |
| 10 days | Rs.87,000 | Rs.48,000 | Rs.1,35,000 | Rs.1,59,300 | |
| 30 days | Rs.2,61,000 | Rs.48,000 | Rs.3,09,000 | Rs.3,64,620 |
A nine-day fleet booking would be Rs.1,38,000, Rs.3,000 more than ten days. Over 30 days the fabrication falls to 15.5 percent of the bill, against 83 percent on a single day, which is why the page frames this fleet as an entry into the city rather than an activation. If what you actually need is one day of presence, a single LED truck at Rs.17,500 or a single T-Shape at Rs.11,000 is the honest comparison, not one-thirtieth of the fleet.
Which Ahmedabad corridors and junctions does a van day buy?
The page publishes a spine and five named junctions. The spine is SG Highway, about 18 km from Thaltej to Bopal, lined with showrooms, corporate towers and premium residential projects. The junctions come with a published dwell time each, and they sit on both sides of the Sabarmati, which is the fact that shapes every Ahmedabad route.
Published Ahmedabad junctions, dwell times and creative language (from the live Ahmedabad van page)
| Junction | Side of the city | Published dwell | Audience the page names | Language the page advises | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SG Highway and Bopal junction | West | 20 minutes | Evening commuters, Bopal township; real estate, auto, premium retail | English first, Gujarati sign-off | |
| Satellite and Vastrapur crossing | West | 15 minutes | Residential societies near IIM Ahmedabad; premium consumer brands | English first, Gujarati sign-off | |
| Ashram Road and Income Tax | Central | 18 minutes | Banking and government offices; financial services | Not specified on the page | |
| Maninagar Crossroads | East | 22 minutes | Traders and commuters at the gateway to Raipur Darwaza; the highest value B2B dwell point | Gujarati first | |
| Naroda GIDC gate | East | 16 minutes | Factory owners and procurement staff at shift change; pharma and chemical | Not specified on the page |
The five dwell times add up to 91 minutes, but no single van collects all of them in one day at their best hours. The two western junctions peak in the office crawl, SG Highway at around 6:30 PM on the page; the Maninagar and Kalupur loop is timed to market hours, 10 AM to 6 PM; the GIDC gates run to shift changes. That is the operational reason the starter fleet splits two vans west and one east rather than asking one van to cross the river twice a day. On cost per kilometre of the published 42 km route, at the 10-day rates a T-Shape costs about Rs.64 a km, an L-Shape about Rs.71 and an LED truck about Rs.167.
Does a Gujarati panel and an English panel cost extra?
The page's language rule is the most Ahmedabad-specific planning input on the card. East of the river, in Maninagar, Kalupur, Sarangpur and the lanes feeding Raipur Darwaza, it says to lead in Gujarati and to keep the phone number large, because in trader markets the call is still the conversion event. CG Road runs bilingual. SG Highway and the GIFT City approach flip to English first with a Gujarati sign-off. It also notes that Gujarati script sets wider than English at the same point size, so a headline is redrawn for the panel rather than translated at the last minute.
What the page does not publish is the price of carrying two creatives. It says a T-Shape panel can be swapped between versions far more cheaply than re-skinning an L-Shape, and that is why it pairs a Gujarati T-Shape in the markets with an English L-Shape on SG Highway. No swap price is stated. If a second creative were charged as fresh fabrication, the ceiling would be Rs.8,000 on a T-Shape and Rs.20,000 on an L-Shape, but that is our upper bound, not a published rate. Ask for the swap line in writing before you plan a two-language run on one vehicle.
Is a van or an auto campaign the better buy in Ahmedabad for the same money?
Our Ahmedabad auto branding page publishes the other obvious option: full hoods at Rs.650 per auto one-time for 300 to 499 autos, Rs.630 at 500 plus, with a 300-auto minimum, and 24 by 6 inch back panels at Rs.170 for 500 to 799 autos, Rs.140 at 800 plus, with a 500-auto minimum. That makes Rs.85,000 and Rs.1,95,000 the two smallest auto orders in the city. Here is what the same money buys on the van card.
Our arithmetic: the two smallest Ahmedabad auto orders against the van card at the same budget, before GST
| Budget | Auto option (published minimum) | Van option on the Ahmedabad card | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rs.85,000 | 500 back panels at Rs.170, one-time | One T-Shape for 28 days: Rs.8,000 plus 28 days at Rs.2,700 is Rs.83,600 | |
| Rs.1,95,000 | 300 full hoods at Rs.650, one-time | One T-Shape for 69 days (Rs.1,94,300), or the three-van starter fleet for 16 days (Rs.1,87,200) |
They are not the same purchase. Autos spread one creative across hundreds of vehicles in general circulation for the life of the material, and the auto page publishes a CPM of Rs.2 to Rs.5. The van page publishes no CPM for Ahmedabad, so we will not invent one to set against it. What the van buys instead is control: a named corridor, named hours, named dates, a vehicle that can sit at a garba ground exit or a GIDC gate at shift change, and a start 48 hours after artwork approval. For a festival window, a launch week or a B2B push into one trade corridor, that control is the product. For quiet, continuous neighbourhood presence, the auto minimums are the cheaper route.
When should you book vans for Navratri in Ahmedabad?
Early, but not because the price moves. The page states that Navratri routes run on the standard Ahmedabad card with no seasonal surcharge, and that garba-circuit slots are the constraint: the GMDC-area and club-ground positions are usually committed first and the closing weekend nights go earliest of all. It recommends confirming routes about 30 days before the festival, against the normal 48-hour go-live. Festival permits and venue-side coordination are handled once routes are locked.
That flat festival pricing is not universal across our cities. Our Kolkata van page publishes a 25 percent premium on Durga Puja routes from 1 to 15 October, the only seasonal surcharge we found when we checked every card for our festival pricing guide. In Ahmedabad the premium you pay for Navratri is timing, not rate. The other published Ahmedabad window is Uttarayan in mid-January, when the page positions LED trucks along the Riverfront because ground-level screens stay visible from the rooftops where much of the city spends the two days.
Which Ahmedabad van figures should you plan on?
The live service page. Our June 2026 Ahmedabad van guide publishes zone-by-zone T-Shape rates from Rs.2,750 to Rs.3,200, an LED rate of Rs.9,500 on the SG Highway belt and a GIFT City permit overhead of 8 to 12 percent. The live page publishes one card for every AMC zone, states that the standard card applies to GIFT City, and publishes no zone premium and no permit overhead. Where the two disagree, plan on the live card; the June guide is due a refresh against it.
Four questions the live card leaves open, worth putting in writing before a purchase order: the price of swapping a creative between runs; whether a wrap can be stored and fitted again for a second booking or is fabricated fresh; whether the 10-day rate is read per van or across a fleet, which matters for three vans booked for four days each; and what the GIFT City and Gandhinagar extension, offered on request, adds in routing time on the published 42 km day. None of these has a published figure, and we would rather say so than guess.
What is included in the Ahmedabad van day rate?
On our live Ahmedabad card the day rate covers the van on its route for the day, about 42 km, with AMC permits handled by us, GPS tracking, geo-tagged photos and daily reports in Gujarati and English. Fabrication is separate and one-time: Rs.8,000 for a T-Shape, Rs.20,000 for an L-Shape and Rs.10,000 for an LED truck. Vans go live within 48 hours of artwork approval, and GST at 18 percent is added.
How much does a month of van branding cost in Ahmedabad with GST?
One T-Shape for 30 days is Rs.8,000 fabrication plus 30 days at the 10-day rate of Rs.2,700, so Rs.89,000 before GST and Rs.1,05,020 with it. One L-Shape for 30 days is Rs.1,10,000, or Rs.1,29,800 with GST. The three-van starter fleet on our Ahmedabad page, two L-Shapes and one T-Shape, is Rs.3,09,000 for 30 days, or Rs.3,64,620 with GST.
Is there a Navratri surcharge on van branding in Ahmedabad?
No. Our Ahmedabad page states that Navratri routes run on the standard card, so an LED truck is Rs.7,500 a night plus Rs.10,000 fabrication, Rs.77,500 for the nine nights before GST. What changes is availability: garba-circuit slots near the GMDC Ground and the club grounds go first, and the page advises confirming routes about 30 days before the festival. Our Kolkata page, by contrast, adds 25 percent in Durga Puja fortnight.
Which van format suits Ahmedabad's wholesale markets?
Our Ahmedabad page pairs the T-Shape with the Maninagar, Kalupur and Sarangpur wholesale lanes, because its single elevated panel clears the rickshaw and scooter traffic and the compact van fits narrow market roads. It is also the cheapest format, Rs.8,000 fabrication plus Rs.3,000 a day or Rs.2,700 from 10 days. The page's rule for those lanes is Gujarati-first creative with a large phone number, run during market hours of 10 AM to 6 PM.
Can one van cover both SG Highway and Maninagar in a day?
It can drive both, but it cannot hold both at their best hours. Our Ahmedabad page times SG Highway to the office crawl, around 6:30 PM in the evening, and the Maninagar and Kalupur loop to market hours of 10 AM to 6 PM, on opposite sides of the Sabarmati with different creative languages. That is why the page recommends two L-Shapes on SG Highway and a separate T-Shape on the Maninagar loop.

Quick Answers
How much does mobile van branding cost in Ahmedabad per day?
On our 2026 Ahmedabad card a T-Shape van is Rs.3,000 a day plus Rs.8,000 one-time fabrication, an L-Shape box van is Rs.3,500 plus Rs.20,000, and an LED display truck is Rs.7,500 plus Rs.10,000. From 10 days the day rates fall to Rs.2,700, Rs.3,000 and Rs.7,000. The minimum booking is one day, so the cheapest single day is Rs.11,000 on a T-Shape, plus 18 percent GST.
Is it cheaper to book an Ahmedabad van for 10 days than for 9?
On two formats, yes or equal. The reduced rate applies to the whole booking from 10 days, so nine T-Shape days cost Rs.35,000 including fabrication, exactly the same as ten, and nine L-Shape days cost Rs.51,500 against Rs.50,000 for ten. Only the LED truck stays cheaper at nine days, Rs.77,500 against Rs.80,000. At 8 days or more, ask for the 10-day price on the same quote.
How much does an LED truck cost for Navratri in Ahmedabad?
Our Ahmedabad page prices a nine-night garba circuit at Rs.10,000 fabrication plus nine nights at Rs.7,500, which is Rs.77,500 before GST and Rs.91,450 with it. There is no festival surcharge. Adding a tenth day moves the whole booking to Rs.7,000 a day, Rs.80,000 or Rs.94,400 with GST, so the extra day costs Rs.2,500. Confirm garba routes about 30 days before the festival.
