Auto Branding in Hyderabad (2026): What the 85,000-Auto Fleet and the Gate and Zone Map Actually Support

Hyderabad's smallest auto branding orders are 300 hoods at Rs.650 (Rs.1,95,000) or 500 back panels at Rs.170 (Rs.85,000), one-time plus GST, but the four IT gate queues our page maps hold only 650 autos between them. At the published 25 to 50 branded autos per gate, the gates absorb 100 to 200 autos, so every minimum order also runs in the residential belts, where the page's own counts show how far each order spreads.

Four Hyderabad IT gate queues, 650 autos, and minimum orders of 300 hoods or 500 panels. What the published fleet and zone counts can actually carry, where the other 400 panels should run, and why 700 panels cost more than 800.

How many branded autos can Hyderabad actually hold in the places the rate card sells? Our Hyderabad auto branding page publishes enough numbers to answer that exactly. The city has 85,000 plus GHMC-registered autos. The four IT campus gate queues it maps hold 200, 180, 150 and 120 autos, which is 650 in total. And the smallest order on the card is 300 hoods at Rs.650 each, Rs.1,95,000, or 500 back panels at Rs.170 each, Rs.85,000. Put those three facts side by side and one planning rule falls out: no minimum order in Hyderabad fits inside the gate queues alone. Every campaign here is a gate and colony campaign, whether it is planned that way or not. This guide works through what the published fleet and zone map can carry, zone by zone, before you sign a quote.

What does the 2026 Hyderabad rate card charge per auto?

Every figure below is from our live Hyderabad page. Each rate is a one-time charge per auto that covers design, print, installation, GHMC-compliant fitting, monthly field audits and free replacement of damaged units within 48 hours. GST at 18 percent is added. Two things sit outside the rate: a union fee that a few auto stands levy, billed at actuals and not published as a figure, and a 10 percent premium the page applies to HITEC City and Banjara Hills routes.

The Mediaverse published Hyderabad auto branding card, 2026. One-time per auto, print and installation included, GST 18 percent extra. The with GST totals at the minimum order are our arithmetic. HITEC City and Banjara Hills routes carry a published 10 percent premium; union fees at some stands are billed at actuals.

Deployment is published too: 48 hours for the first batch and 5 to 7 days for 100 plus autos. For 50 plus autos at the HITEC City gates, the page asks for 7 days of queue position booking, because placement inside a queue is negotiated with the stand unions rather than left to chance.

How many autos stand in a Hyderabad IT gate queue?

The page's central claim is the gate queue. Hyderabad's big IT campuses keep autos outside their compounds, so 150 to 200 autos line up at each exit, and the campus workforce walks that line at 1 to 2 metres between 6:00 and 7:30 PM. The page counts about 85,000 IT workers passing these gates, with 35,000 plus at HITEC City and 20,000 plus at Gachibowli. Its working rule is 25 branded autos per gate as a floor, and its deployment step allows 25 to 50. Here is what those two numbers mean at each mapped gate.

Our arithmetic: share of each published gate queue at 25 and 50 branded autos

GateAutos in queue (published)25 branded autos50 branded autos
HITEC City campus gate20012.5 percent25.0 percent
Gachibowli DLF and ISB gate18013.9 percent27.8 percent
Raheja Mindspace15016.7 percent33.3 percent
Financial District12020.8 percent41.7 percent
All four gates650100 autos, 15.4 percent200 autos, 30.8 percent

One honest correction to our own copy. The page says 25 autos is roughly 15 to 20 percent of the visible queue. On its own queue counts, 25 autos is 12.5 percent at HITEC City and 13.9 percent at Gachibowli, and only reaches 16.7 to 20.8 percent at the two smaller gates. If share of queue is what you are buying, the Financial District gives the most of it per branded auto, because its queue is the shortest.

Can a minimum order fit inside the gate queues?

No, and the arithmetic is short. The hood minimum of 300 autos is 46 percent of all four gate queues combined. The panel minimum of 500 is 77 percent of them. At the page's 25 to 50 autos per gate, the four gates absorb 100 to 200 autos. So a 300 hood order leaves 100 to 200 hoods for somewhere else, and a 500 panel order leaves 300 to 400.

That is also how to read the SaaS example on our page, which describes 500 back panel autos in the HITEC City gate queue for 45 days at Rs.85,000. The HITEC queue holds 200 autos at a time, so 500 branded autos cannot all stand in it at once. Autos leave with fares and others join, so branded autos cycle through the queue over a run, but the page does not publish how many of the 500 stand in the queue at any moment. Ask for that figure in the weekly gate report the page promises, which lists the share of each queue carrying your brand. Plan on 25 to 50 per gate, because that is the number the deployment step publishes.

Where should the rest of a 500-auto order run?

The page answers this itself: gate first, residential second, in the belt where the gate audience lives. It puts about 65 percent of Hyderabad's IT workers in the Kukatpally, Miyapur, Kondapur and KPHB belt, and publishes an auto count for each part of it. Splitting the remaining 400 panels in proportion to those counts gives every sub-zone exactly 5 percent of its autos, and every sub-zone clears the page's residential floor of 40 plus autos per zone.

Our allocation: one 500 panel order, 24 by 6 in at Rs.170, split by the published zone counts

PlacementPublished autosBranded autosShare of zone
Four IT gate queues at 25 each65010015.4 percent
Kukatpally4,0002005.0 percent
Miyapur2,0001005.0 percent
Kondapur1,200605.0 percent
KPHB800405.0 percent
Total8,650500 for Rs.85,000, Rs.1,00,300 with GST5.8 percent

The 10 percent HITEC City premium changes this plan by very little if it is applied the way the page words it, to HITEC City routes. On the 25 HITEC gate autos it adds Rs.425. If a quote applies it to all 500 autos, it adds Rs.8,500, and that is worth questioning. The published SaaS example itself is priced at the standard Rs.170, Rs.85,000 for 500.

If you want to see the whole Hyderabad plan in one place before you build your own, the city page carries the card, the gate map and the zone counts together: auto branding in Hyderabad, linked at the end of this guide.

How many residents does one branded auto serve in each belt?

The page pairs each residential and heritage zone with a resident count and an auto count. Dividing one by the other shows how thinly each belt's autos are spread, which matters because the same order size buys a very different share of the street in each belt.

Our arithmetic: residents per auto and what a 40 auto cluster buys, on the published zone figures

BeltResidents (published)Autos (published)Residents per auto40 autos as share of the belt
Kukatpally, KPHB and MiyapurAbout 8 lakhOver 6,000 (6,800 on the sub-zone counts)118 to 1330.6 to 0.7 percent
Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar and NagoleAbout 6 lakhOver 3,000About 2001.3 percent
Old City, Charminar to NampallyAbout 5 lakhOver 3,000 (3,400 on the sub-zone counts)147 to 1671.2 to 1.3 percent

Two readings follow. The eastern pocket around Dilsukhnagar has the most residents per auto, so each branded auto there is one of fewer autos serving more households, and a 40 auto cluster is about twice the share of the belt it would be in Kukatpally. The Kukatpally belt has the most autos, so it can take a large order without any single sub-zone being crowded, which is why it absorbs the 400 remaining panels in the plan above. Neither reading is a response forecast. The page publishes no response benchmark by belt, and neither do we.

What does the Old City lane map change?

Almost everything about the creative, and nothing about the price. The page puts Old City lanes around Charminar, Sultan Bazaar and Koti at 8 to 10 feet wide, too narrow for a van and with no wall space for a hoarding, and publishes sub-zone counts of Charminar 1,500 autos, Abids 800, Sultan Bazaar 600 and Koti 500. Old City routes are at the standard rate, with no premium.

At near walking pace, a back panel gets read end to end, and hoods earn their price at bazaar junctions where autos idle in front of shopfronts. The page's creative rule for this half of the city is a bold phone number over a QR code, offers and price points over brand mood lines, and Urdu or Telugu first depending on the pocket. Across the city, its language split is English led with a Telugu line on the IT corridor, Telugu led for Kukatpally, Dilsukhnagar and LB Nagar, and Urdu plus Telugu around Charminar and Begum Bazaar. Splitting one run into two or three language versions adds nothing to the per auto rate, so a 500 panel order can carry all three.

Why can 800 panels cost less than 700?

Because the Hyderabad card drops the price for the whole order once it crosses a slab, not only for the autos above it. At 800 back panels, 24 by 6 in costs Rs.140 each, Rs.1,12,000. At Rs.170, Rs.1,12,000 buys 658 panels. So any order from 659 to 799 panels costs more than 800 would. The same cliff sits at 712 to 799 panels on the 24 by 18 in size, where 800 at Rs.240 is Rs.1,92,000, and at 485 to 499 hoods, where 500 at Rs.630 is Rs.3,15,000.

Our arithmetic: the slab cliffs on the Hyderabad card, before GST

FormatOrder at the higher slabSame money at the lower rate buysOrders that cost more than the slab
Back panel 24 by 6 in800 at Rs.140 = Rs.1,12,000658 panels at Rs.170659 to 799 panels
Back panel 24 by 18 in800 at Rs.240 = Rs.1,92,000711 panels at Rs.270712 to 799 panels
Full hood500 at Rs.630 = Rs.3,15,000484 hoods at Rs.650485 to 499 hoods

Can the zone map absorb 800 panels? Yes, on the published counts. Keep the 100 gate autos and put 700 into the Kukatpally belt, and the belt's 8,000 autos carry 8.75 percent branded. Or add the eastern pocket, where 300 panels are 10 percent of its 3,000 autos. Either way the order stays inside zones the page maps.

What does a Hyderabad auto cost per month of life?

The page publishes material life in its specification section: hood covers typically 6 to 12 months under the Hyderabad heat and monsoon cycle, back panel stickers typically 4 to 6 months. Its FAQ elsewhere says rated life is 12 plus months. Those do not agree, so plan on the specification section's shorter figures. Spreading the one-time rate over them gives the monthly cost of each auto while the branding is still on it.

Our arithmetic: cost per auto per month of published life

FormatOne-time ratePublished lifePer auto per month
Full hoodRs.650 (Rs.630 at 500 plus)6 to 12 monthsRs.54 to Rs.108
Back panel 24 by 6 inRs.170 (Rs.140 at 800 plus)4 to 6 monthsRs.28 to Rs.43 (Rs.23 to Rs.35)
Back panel 24 by 18 inRs.270 (Rs.240 at 800 plus)4 to 6 monthsRs.45 to Rs.68 (Rs.40 to Rs.60)

At fleet level, a 500 panel order at Rs.85,000 is Rs.14,167 to Rs.21,250 a month over its 4 to 6 months, and 300 hoods at Rs.1,95,000 are Rs.16,250 to Rs.32,500 a month over 6 to 12. The free 48 hour replacement and monthly audits are inside those figures. For how the micron grade drives these lives, see our material specification guide.

Which Hyderabad figures should you plan on when two sources differ?

Our own June 2026 Hyderabad guide quoted a fleet of about 1.4 lakh autos, 25,000 to 38,000 daily impressions per auto and hood rates of Rs.550 to Rs.650 per auto per month. The live Hyderabad page, which is the rate card we quote from, publishes 85,000 plus GHMC-registered autos, 12,000 to 25,000 daily impressions per auto as a tracked estimate, and one-time rates of Rs.650 and Rs.630 per hood. Where the two differ, plan on the live page. The June guide is still worth reading for its catchment descriptions, and its figures are due a refresh.

The impression and CPM figures on the page, 12,000 to 25,000 a day and Rs.3 to Rs.7, are labelled as tracked estimates from our experience. They are not audited measurements, so they appear in this guide only as the page's own figures, never as inputs to the arithmetic above.

When should a Hyderabad campaign be booked?

The page names two demand peaks: BioAsia season in February and March, and the November to January wedding stretch. Allow the 7 days of queue position booking for 50 plus gate autos on top of the 5 to 7 day deployment for 100 plus. The western corridor has two windows worth planning creative around, 8:30 to 10:00 AM into the campuses and 6:00 to 7:30 PM out of them. In the Old City, the page advises keeping deployments live through Bonalu in the Ashada month and Ramzan evenings around Charminar, when autos slow further and crowds multiply.

Hyderabad auto branding questions, answered by the numbers

How many branded autos does one Hyderabad IT gate need?

Our Hyderabad page sets 25 branded autos per campus gate as the floor and deploys 25 to 50. On the published queue counts, 25 autos is 12.5 percent of the 200 auto HITEC City queue, 13.9 percent at Gachibowli, 16.7 percent at Raheja Mindspace and 20.8 percent at the Financial District. Covering all four gates at the floor takes 100 autos, which is why every minimum order also runs in residential zones.

Does the 10 percent HITEC City premium apply to every auto in the order?

The page words it as a 10 percent premium on HITEC City and Banjara Hills routes, with Old City routes at standard rates. Applied to 25 HITEC gate panels at Rs.170, it adds Rs.425. Applied to a whole 500 panel order, it would add Rs.8,500, so ask the quote to show which autos carry it. The published HITEC City example of 500 panels is priced at the standard Rs.85,000.

How long does auto branding last in Hyderabad's heat and monsoon?

The specification section of our Hyderabad page gives hood covers 6 to 12 months and back panel stickers 4 to 6 months under the heat and monsoon cycle, with 100 micron rexine rated for 42 degree summers and sealed edge vinyl for July to September rain. Damaged units are replaced free within 48 hours. The page's FAQ says 12 plus months; plan on the shorter figures.

Is Old City auto branding in Hyderabad more expensive?

No. The page prices Old City routes around Charminar and Abids at the standard card, Rs.650 per hood and Rs.170 per 24 by 6 in panel, with the 10 percent premium reserved for HITEC City and Banjara Hills. It maps Charminar at 1,500 autos, Abids 800, Sultan Bazaar 600 and Koti 500, in lanes of 8 to 10 feet where vans and hoardings cannot operate.

Should Hyderabad auto creative be in Telugu, English or Urdu?

The page's rule is English led with a Telugu line on the IT corridor, Telugu led for Kukatpally, Dilsukhnagar and LB Nagar, and Urdu plus Telugu around Charminar and Begum Bazaar. Splitting one print run into two or three language versions adds nothing to the per auto rate, so a 500 panel order at Rs.170 can carry all three without changing the minimum or the Rs.85,000 total.

Build the plan on the live card, the gate counts and the zone counts, and ask for the weekly share of queue report before the second month. The Hyderabad page carries all of it, and our team will quote your gates and colonies the same day.

Quick Answers

What is the smallest auto branding order you can book in Hyderabad?

On our 2026 Hyderabad card, the smallest orders are 300 full hoods at Rs.650 each, Rs.1,95,000 or Rs.2,30,100 with 18 percent GST, and 500 back panels of 24 by 6 inches at Rs.170 each, Rs.85,000 or Rs.1,00,300 with GST. The larger 24 by 18 inch panel is Rs.270 each, also with a 500 auto minimum. Rates are one-time per auto, with design, print, fitting and GHMC permits included.

How many autos wait in a Hyderabad IT campus gate queue?

Our Hyderabad page maps four gate queues: HITEC City about 200 autos, Gachibowli DLF about 180, Raheja Mindspace about 150 and the Financial District about 120, or 650 in total. Campuses keep autos outside their compounds, so workers walk the queue at 1 to 2 metres between 6:00 and 7:30 PM. The page recommends 25 to 50 branded autos per gate.

Can a 500 auto campaign run only at the HITEC City gate in Hyderabad?

Not all at once. The HITEC City gate queue holds about 200 autos, and our page deploys 25 to 50 branded autos per gate. Even all four mapped gates together hold 650 autos. A 500 panel order therefore spreads across gates and the residential belt where the gate audience lives, such as Kukatpally, Miyapur, Kondapur and KPHB, which the page counts at 8,000 autos.
