Local SEO in India costs Rs.15,000 per month for a single location at Mediaverse Digital, Rs.30,000 for up to three locations and Rs.60,000 for up to ten, with Rs.5,000 a month for each location beyond ten. That is Rs.15,000, Rs.10,000 and Rs.6,000 per location respectively, before GST.
Key takeaways
- Published tiers: Local Presence Rs.15,000 a month for one location, Local Growth Rs.30,000 for up to three, Multi-Location Rs.60,000 for up to ten, then Rs.5,000 for each extra location.
- Per location that is Rs.15,000, Rs.10,000 and Rs.6,000 a month, so the cost of managing a branch falls 60 percent between the first tier and the third.
- At exactly two locations, Local Growth costs the same Rs.30,000 as two Local Presence plans but adds 12 posts instead of 8, 10 citations instead of 5, review generation, location landing pages and local schema.
- At three locations the gap is Rs.15,000 a month, since three Local Presence plans is Rs.45,000 against Rs.30,000 for Local Growth. That is Rs.1,80,000 over a year.
- The entry tier buys a fixed monthly quantity: a full profile optimisation, 8 GBP posts, 5 new citations, every review answered within 48 hours and a map-pack rank report.
- Your profile stays yours. Paid directory upgrades, ad spend, photography, a new website and GST all sit outside the retainer.
Local SEO gets quoted per month, but it is bought per location, and those two facts pull in different directions. At our published rates, one location is Rs.15,000 a month, three are Rs.30,000 and ten are Rs.60,000. Divide those out and the cost of managing a single branch falls from Rs.15,000 to Rs.10,000 to Rs.6,000, a 60 percent drop across the ladder. This guide walks the tiers, what each one actually ships every month, and the two points where the bigger plan costs exactly the same as the smaller one and carries more.
How much does local SEO cost in India in 2026?
Three tiers are published, all monthly, all with GST added for Indian clients. Local Presence is Rs.15,000 a month (about $300) for one location and covers a full Google Business Profile audit and optimisation, 8 GBP posts a month, every review answered within 48 hours, 5 new citations a month, photo and service updates and a monthly map-pack rank report. Local Growth is Rs.30,000 for up to three locations and adds, per location, 12 posts a month, 10 citations, a review-generation flow using QR and WhatsApp, location landing pages on your existing site, local schema markup and a fortnightly report. Multi-Location is Rs.60,000 for up to ten, with central profile management, spam-listing removal, Q and A seeding, local link building, a per-location dashboard and a quarterly review meeting, plus Rs.5,000 a month for each location past ten.
| Tier | Published price | Locations covered | Cost per location | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Local Presence | Rs.15,000/mo | 1 | Rs.15,000 | GBP audit and optimisation, 8 posts, 5 citations, reviews answered in 48 hours, monthly rank report |
| Local Growth | Rs.30,000/mo | Up to 3 | Rs.10,000 at 3 | 12 posts, 10 citations, review-generation flow, location landing pages, local schema, fortnightly report |
| Multi-Location | Rs.60,000/mo | Up to 10 | Rs.6,000 at 10 | Central management, spam-listing removal, Q and A seeding, local link building, per-location dashboard |
| Each extra location | Rs.5,000/mo | Beyond 10 | Rs.5,000 | Added to the Multi-Location plan, one third the single-location price |
Where does moving up a tier pay for itself?
At the second location, and the maths is unusually clean. Two Local Presence plans cost Rs.15,000 each, so Rs.30,000 a month, which is exactly the published Local Growth price for up to three locations. For the identical invoice, Local Growth carries everything in Local Presence per location and then adds 12 posts a month instead of 8, 10 citations instead of 5, the QR and WhatsApp review-generation flow, location landing pages on your site, local schema markup and a fortnightly report instead of a monthly one. There is no version of that trade where two separate entry plans win.
The third location is where it stops being a tie and starts being a saving. Three Local Presence plans is Rs.45,000 a month against Rs.30,000 for Local Growth, a difference of Rs.15,000 a month or Rs.1,80,000 across a year, for a plan that already carried more. The same shape repeats one tier up: six locations on two Local Growth plans is Rs.60,000, exactly the Multi-Location price, and Multi-Location adds central management, spam-listing removal, Q and A seeding, local link building and a per-location dashboard on top.
| Locations | Entry plans stacked | Best published route | Monthly cost | Per location |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rs.15,000 | Local Presence | Rs.15,000 | Rs.15,000 |
| 2 | Rs.30,000 | Local Growth (same price, more included) | Rs.30,000 | Rs.15,000 |
| 3 | Rs.45,000 | Local Growth | Rs.30,000 | Rs.10,000 |
| 6 | Rs.90,000 | Multi-Location (same price as two Growth plans) | Rs.60,000 | Rs.10,000 |
| 10 | Rs.1,50,000 | Multi-Location | Rs.60,000 | Rs.6,000 |
| 20 | Rs.3,00,000 | Multi-Location plus 10 extra at Rs.5,000 | Rs.1,10,000 | Rs.5,500 |
The pattern worth noticing
At every published tier boundary the larger plan costs the same as stacking the smaller one and includes more. That is our reading of our own price list rather than a promotion, and it means the only question worth asking is how many locations you will genuinely be managing in six months, not how few you can start with.
What does Rs.15,000 a month actually buy?
A fixed monthly quantity, which is the point of publishing it. Eight GBP posts a month is 96 posts a year. Five new citations a month is 60 a year, which is how a listing accumulates the consistent name, address and phone footprint that map-pack ranking leans on. Every review answered within 48 hours is a service level rather than a volume, and it is the one most single-location businesses quietly fail on their own. On top of that sits the one-off work: a full profile audit and optimisation at the start, then photo and service updates and a monthly map-pack rank report so the ranking is something you read rather than something you are told about.
- Monthly on the entry tier: 8 GBP posts, 5 new citations, photo and service updates, one map-pack rank report.
- Within 48 hours: every review answered, positive or otherwise.
- Per year on the entry tier: 96 posts and 60 citations, which is the compounding part.
- Upgraded on Local Growth: 12 posts and 10 citations per location, plus review generation, location pages and local schema.
- Added on Multi-Location: spam-listing removal, Q and A seeding, local link building and a per-location dashboard.
What is not in the retainer?
Six exclusions are published, and they matter because several of them are where competitors hide costs. Paid directory upgrades or featured listings on Justdial, Sulekha and similar platforms are not included. Neither is any paid media spend, including Google Ads and Local Services Ads. Photography and video shoots at your locations are briefed but scoped separately. A website is not included: location pages are built on your existing site, so if you do not have one, that is a separate website build at published rates. Physical signage, QR standees and printed review cards are not included beyond the artwork file. GST is added to the retainer.
The exclusion worth planning around is the website one. Location landing pages are a Local Growth feature, and they are built on a site you already own, which means the Rs.30,000 tier assumes a site exists. If it does not, our guide to whether a Google listing alone is enough covers that decision directly, and the profile and website division of labour explains which pages actually support local rankings.
Which tier should you actually start on?
One clinic, store, restaurant, office or showroom starts on Local Presence, and there is no cheaper published route. Two or three branches should start on Local Growth, because at two it is free relative to stacking entry plans and at three it saves Rs.15,000 a month. A chain, franchise or clinic group above six locations belongs on Multi-Location, both for the price and because spam-listing removal and central management stop being optional once there are enough profiles for someone else to create a duplicate of one. The single tier worth arguing about is Local Presence for a business in a competitive category, where the published guidance puts even one location on Local Growth.
One thing does not change with tier. The profile stays owned by you, in the same way the ad account does on our paid media work. If local search is part of a larger organic programme rather than the whole of it, the SEO services tiers sit alongside these, and every figure quoted here is fixed in the scope document before any payment, on the published pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
What does Google Business Profile management cost per location in India?
Rs.15,000 a month for a single location at our published rates, falling to Rs.10,000 per location on the Rs.30,000 three-location plan and Rs.6,000 on the Rs.60,000 ten-location plan. Beyond ten, each additional location is Rs.5,000 a month, which is one third of the single-location price. GST is added to all of these, and no paid directory listing or ad spend is included in any tier.
Is it cheaper to buy two single-location plans or one three-location plan?
They cost exactly the same and the three-location plan carries more. Two Local Presence plans are Rs.15,000 each, so Rs.30,000, which is the published Local Growth price. For that identical amount Local Growth adds 12 posts a month instead of 8, 10 citations instead of 5, a review-generation flow, location landing pages, local schema markup and fortnightly reporting. At two locations there is no reason to stack entry plans.
How many Google Business Profile posts and citations does the entry plan include?
Eight GBP posts and five new citations every month, which works out at 96 posts and 60 citations over a year. The plan also covers a full profile audit and optimisation at the start, ongoing photo and service updates, a monthly map-pack rank report, and a commitment to answer every review within 48 hours. Local Growth raises those monthly figures to 12 posts and 10 citations per location.
Does local SEO management include paid listings on Justdial or Sulekha?
No. Paid directory upgrades and featured listings on Justdial, Sulekha and similar platforms are published as outside the retainer, as is any paid media spend including Google Ads and Local Services Ads. The citations we build each month are free directory and listing placements, not bought positions. Photography, physical signage and QR standees beyond the artwork file are also excluded, and GST is added to the fee.
Do I need a website before buying a local SEO retainer?
Not for the entry tier, but for Local Growth you effectively do. Location landing pages are one of its features and they are built on your existing site, so the Rs.30,000 tier assumes a site is already there. A website is explicitly not included in any local SEO plan. If you have only a Google listing today, decide the website question first, because location pages and local schema both need somewhere to live.
Who owns the Google Business Profile during and after the engagement?
You do. The profile stays owned by you throughout, which is the same principle we apply to ad accounts on paid media work: we hold the access needed to do the work and nothing more. That matters most for multi-location groups, where a profile created or claimed under an agency account becomes very awkward to recover later, along with the review history attached to it.
