Online Reputation Management Cost in India (2026): Rs.20,000 to Monitor, Rs.2.7 Lakh Minimum to Repair, and What Cannot Be Bought at Any Price

Online reputation management in India costs Rs.8,000 to Rs.1,00,000 a month depending on scope. Mediaverse Digital publishes three plans: Monitor at Rs.20,000 a month, Repair at Rs.45,000 with a 6-month minimum, so Rs.2,70,000 before GST at the least, and Protect at Rs.90,000 including executives. Legal fees and paid placements sit outside every plan.

Key takeaways

  • Indian market bands per month: basic monitoring and review replies Rs.8,000 to Rs.25,000, growth packages with suppression Rs.15,000 to Rs.40,000, enterprise programmes Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,00,000 and beyond.
  • Our published plans, plus 18 percent GST: Reputation Monitor Rs.20,000 a month, Reputation Repair Rs.45,000 a month with a 6-month minimum, Reputation Protect Rs.90,000 a month.
  • The smallest Repair commitment is Rs.2,70,000, or Rs.3,18,600 with GST, for 24 suppression articles and 12 profile or PR placements. At the 9-month end of the published 4 to 9 month range it is Rs.4,05,000.
  • Per monitored search phrase the plans cost Rs.4,000, Rs.4,500 and Rs.4,500 a month on our arithmetic, so the step up buys content and response, not more names watched.
  • Policy-breaking reviews, fake profiles, copyright breaches and court-ordered content can be removed. Genuine reviews, news articles and forum threads cannot, and have to be outranked.

Reputation management is the digital service where a buyer most needs the price and the limits on one page, because it is the one where the tempting promises break platform rules. Our online reputation management page publishes three plans and the Indian market bands. This guide sets those side by side, works out what each plan costs over the commitment it actually needs, and draws the honest line between the results that can be removed and the ones that can only be pushed down.

How much does online reputation management cost in India in 2026?

Indian ORM pricing follows the scope of what is protected. Most agencies define a package by how many search phrases they watch, from 2 to 15, and by how many page-one positions they aim to hold. The bands below are the typical Indian ranges published on our service page, not our rate card.

Typical Indian online reputation management prices, 2026 (market ranges, not a rate card)
Package typeTypical monthly priceWhat it usually covers
Basic monitoring and review responseRs.8,000 to Rs.25,000Alerts on a few search phrases, replies to reviews
Growth, with suppression contentRs.15,000 to Rs.40,000More phrases, new content built to outrank a negative result
Enterprise programmeRs.40,000 to Rs.1,00,000 and beyondExecutives, crisis handling and digital PR
Mediaverse Digital published ORM plans, 2026 (plus 18 percent GST)
PlanPriceWhat it includes
Reputation MonitorRs.20,000 a month (about $400), month to month5 monitored brand and founder phrases, review monitoring on Google plus Justdial, Practo or Zomato, every review answered within 24 hours, a QR and WhatsApp review-generation flow, monthly sentiment report
Reputation RepairRs.45,000 a month (about $900), 6-month minimumEverything in Monitor for 10 phrases, 4 suppression articles and 2 profile or PR placements a month, knowledge panel hygiene, takedown and legal-notice coordination, fortnightly report
Reputation ProtectRs.90,000 a month (about $1,800), month to month20 phrases including executives, 8 content assets plus digital PR a month, crisis playbook with a 4-hour response window, social listening, quarterly audit, a dedicated reputation lead

Placed against the market, Monitor sits in the upper half of the basic band and Protect near the top of the enterprise band. Repair is the one to read carefully: at Rs.45,000 it is Rs.5,000 above the top of the Indian growth band and at the bottom of the enterprise band. The difference is volume. Six content pieces a month for 10 phrases, plus takedown coordination and a fortnightly report, is more work than most growth packages in that band describe.

What does each ORM plan cost over its real commitment?

A monthly fee hides the real size of the decision, because repair work has a minimum and a published duration. Our page states that moving a negative result from page one to page two of a brand search typically takes 4 to 9 months, and Repair carries a 6-month minimum. The table turns those into totals. The arithmetic is ours; the fees and durations are the page's.

Our arithmetic: ORM plan totals over common commitments, before and after 18 percent GST
CommitmentBefore GSTWith GSTContent delivered
Monitor, 12 monthsRs.2,40,000Rs.2,83,200Review replies and reports only
Repair, 6-month minimumRs.2,70,000Rs.3,18,60024 articles and 12 placements
Repair 6 months, then Monitor 6 monthsRs.3,90,000Rs.4,60,20024 articles and 12 placements
Repair, 9 monthsRs.4,05,000Rs.4,77,90036 articles and 18 placements
Repair 9 months, then Monitor 3 monthsRs.4,65,000Rs.5,48,70036 articles and 18 placements
Protect, 12 monthsRs.10,80,000Rs.12,74,40096 assets plus digital PR

The step-down rows matter because our page describes Repair as a project with an end. At the 6-month review the choice is to step down to Monitor or extend only for the phrases that still need work. On our arithmetic, a first year that repairs for six months and then monitors costs Rs.3,90,000 before GST, which is Rs.1,50,000 more than a year of Monitor alone. That Rs.1,50,000 is what the repair adds over simply watching, and it pays for 36 pieces of content.

Why does reputation repair need a 6-month minimum?

Because suppression is slow by design. A new profile page, interview or article has to be indexed, earn some authority and then climb past a result that has sat on page one for months. Stopping at month two throws away what months one and two paid for, before any of it has had time to rank. Our page puts six months as the shortest period in which most repair work shows clear movement in the phrase-by-phrase report. Monitor and Protect have no minimum and run month to month.

Two published timings sit either side of that. A weak negative result on a brand that already has a footprint can move in 3 to 4 months. A major news article about a name with few other results can take the full 9 months or longer. Review ratings move faster than search results: a review-generation flow typically shows in the rating within 6 to 8 weeks of going live, which is why Monitor alone is often enough for a business whose only problem is its star rating.

The 30-day fix is a red flag

Our page states it plainly: anyone quoting a 30-day fix for a page-one news article is either planning something that breaks platform rules or has not looked at the result. Fake reviews, review swaps, paid positive reviews and false takedown claims are refused on every plan we sell.

What can an ORM agency remove, and what has to be outranked?

Removal works in narrower cases than most people hope, and it is priced differently from everything else. Reports to a platform cost nothing beyond the fee. Legal routes run through your own lawyer, whose fees are paid directly and sit outside every plan. Everything that cannot be removed is handled by building better results, and that is where the monthly fee goes.

What happens to each kind of negative result, per our service page
Result on page oneCan it be removed?RouteCost outside the monthly fee
Google review that breaks policy: spam, conflict of interest, off-topic, never a customerOften, when the report is specificPlatform reportNone
Fake profile, doxxing or copyright breachYes, through formal takedown routesTakedown or DMCA noticeYour lawyer's fees where counsel sends the notice
Defamatory contentOnly with a court orderLegal process measured in monthsYour lawyer's fees
Genuine negative reviewNoReply within 24 hours, more real reviewsNone
News article, forum thread, employee review siteNoSuppression: 4 to 8 new assets a month for 4 to 9 monthsPaid placements, billed at cost with your approval

That is why our Repair plan is scoped as outranking work with a takedown track alongside it, not sold as removal. The audit tells you which row each result falls into before you commit, and the fortnightly report shows both tracks: what was reported and the outcome, and where each monitored phrase now ranks. Much of the suppression work is the same entity and content work covered in our content marketing cost guide, pointed at your own name.

Is the number of search phrases the real difference between the plans?

Less than it looks. Divide each fee by its monitored phrases and the price per phrase barely moves: Rs.4,000 a month on Monitor for 5 phrases, Rs.4,500 on Repair for 10 and Rs.4,500 on Protect for 20. That is our arithmetic, and it says the step up is not buying more names watched. It is buying content and response. Repair works out at Rs.7,500 per content piece a month with monitoring included, 6 pieces for Rs.45,000. Protect works out at Rs.11,250 per asset, 8 assets for Rs.90,000, with digital PR, social listening and the 4-hour crisis window on top.

So the practical question is not how many phrases you need. It is whether anything on page one for your name needs pushing down. If not, Monitor covers the phrases that matter for most single-location businesses, and the money is better spent on the listing and the reviews themselves.

Frequently asked questions

How much does online reputation management cost per month in India?

Across the Indian market, basic monitoring and review replies cost Rs.8,000 to Rs.25,000 a month, growth packages with suppression content Rs.15,000 to Rs.40,000, and enterprise programmes Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,00,000 or more. Mediaverse Digital charges Rs.20,000 a month for Reputation Monitor, Rs.45,000 for Reputation Repair with a 6-month minimum and Rs.90,000 for Reputation Protect, with 18 percent GST added for Indian clients.

What is the minimum cost of a reputation repair project?

On our published plan, Reputation Repair is Rs.45,000 a month with a 6-month minimum, so the smallest commitment is Rs.2,70,000 before GST and Rs.3,18,600 with it. That buys 24 suppression articles and 12 profile or PR placements. If the negative result needs the full 9 months, the repair costs Rs.4,05,000 before GST. Legal fees and paid placements are extra.

Can an ORM agency remove a negative Google review or news article?

Only in specific cases. Reviews that break Google policy, fake profiles, copyright breaches and content under a court order can be reported or legally removed. A genuine negative review, a news article or a forum thread cannot be taken down. For those the lasting fix is suppression: publishing 4 to 8 legitimate assets a month so the result slides to page two, which typically takes 4 to 9 months.

Why does the Rs.45,000 Repair plan cost more than the Indian growth band?

Because it carries more work than most packages in that band. The Indian growth band is Rs.15,000 to Rs.40,000 a month; Repair is Rs.5,000 above its top. For that it covers 10 monitored phrases, 4 suppression articles and 2 profile or PR placements every month, knowledge panel hygiene, takedown coordination and a fortnightly report. On our arithmetic that is Rs.7,500 per content piece with monitoring included.

What costs sit outside an ORM retainer?

On our plans, legal fees for defamation notices, court orders or counsel are paid to your lawyer directly. Paid placements or sponsored articles are billed at cost with your approval. Paid advertising to promote positive content is scoped separately. Customer service itself stays with your team, since we answer reviews and route complaints but do not resolve them. GST is added to the monthly fee for Indian clients.

How soon do online reputation management results show?

Review ratings move first: a review-generation flow typically shows in the rating within 6 to 8 weeks of going live. Search results move more slowly. A weak negative result on a brand with an existing footprint can drop in 3 to 4 months, while a major news article about a name with few other results can take 9 months or longer. The reputation audit and plan arrive within 5 working days.
