What a Digital Plus Outdoor Launch Costs in One Indian City (2026): A Worked Pune Example at Published Rates

Four Neighbourhood Launch plans priced line by line from our published retainer and the one-time outdoor rate card, with GST, the fee share, where the service page's own example comes out low, and how QR codes and UTM links measure it.

At our published rates, the smallest one-city digital plus outdoor launch costs Rs.2,15,500 before GST: the Rs.1,00,000 Neighbourhood Launch retainer, 1,000 no-parking boards at Rs.45 (Rs.45,000), Rs.60,000 of Meta and Google ads, and a 10 percent media fee of Rs.10,500. Swapping the boards for 300 auto hoods makes it Rs.3,80,500, on our arithmetic.

Key takeaways

  • Four Neighbourhood Launch plans at published rates, before GST and on our arithmetic: 1,000 no-parking boards Rs.2,15,500; 500 auto back panels Rs.2,59,500; 300 auto hoods Rs.3,80,500; hoods plus boards Rs.4,30,000.
  • Every plan carries the same Rs.1,00,000 retainer and the same Rs.60,000 of Meta and Google ads; only the outdoor line and the 10 percent media fee change.
  • The outdoor minimums decide the floor: 300 autos for hoods at Rs.650 one-time, 500 for back panels at Rs.170, 1,000 no-parking boards at Rs.45. Smaller orders are not bookable.
  • Our service page's worked example of about Rs.3,09,000 uses Rs.300 per auto and Rs.40 per board, which are not card prices at those quantities; the same mix at card prices is Rs.4,30,000.
  • In the smallest plan the retainer and fee are 51 percent of the bill; in the largest they are 30 percent. Measurement is QR codes per format and locality, UTM links, coupon codes and WhatsApp tagging.

An integrated launch has three price lines, and they are all published. Our digital plus outdoor service charges a Neighbourhood Launch retainer from Rs.1,00,000 for one city, 2 to 4 localities and 4 weeks, plus the media, plus a flat 10 percent media-management fee on that media. The outdoor half is billed at The Mediaverse one-time rate card: auto hoods at Rs.650 per auto from a 300-auto minimum, back panels at Rs.170 from 500, and no-parking boards at Rs.45 from 1,000. This guide prices four real plans for one city, Pune, line by line. The rates are national, not Pune-specific; Pune is the example because both of its outdoor pages are live.

How much does a digital plus outdoor launch cost in one city?

Our arithmetic: four Neighbourhood Launch plans for one city at published rates, before GST
PlanOutdoor mediaDigital ads (Meta and Google, 4 weeks)10 percent media feeRetainerTotal before GST
A: 1,000 no-parking boardsRs.45,000Rs.60,000Rs.10,500Rs.1,00,000Rs.2,15,500
B: 500 auto back panels, 24x6Rs.85,000Rs.60,000Rs.14,500Rs.1,00,000Rs.2,59,500
C: 300 auto hoodsRs.1,95,000Rs.60,000Rs.25,500Rs.1,00,000Rs.3,80,500
D: 300 auto hoods plus 1,000 boardsRs.2,40,000Rs.60,000Rs.30,000Rs.1,00,000Rs.4,30,000

The Rs.60,000 digital line is the figure our service page uses for 4 weeks of geo-targeted Meta and Google ads. Split evenly, it is Rs.30,000 a platform, which is the floor both our Meta and Google pages name for a metro campaign, so it is the smallest digital line we would put next to outdoor rather than a comfortable one. The media fee is 10 percent of outdoor plus digital media combined; the retainer is flat. Every total here is our arithmetic on published prices, and the scope document is where a real quote is fixed.

Which published prices does this example use?

All auto prices are one-time per auto, print plus install, not a monthly rent; the full slab table for the city is on our auto branding in Pune page, and the two sticker sizes are explained on the auto back panel branding page. The board slabs are on our no-parking board advertising in Pune page. Below the minimums nothing is bookable: 200 hoods, 300 back panels or 500 boards cannot be ordered at any price, which is why Plan A, not something smaller, is the floor.

Why is this higher than the example on the service page?

Our digital plus outdoor page carries its own worked Neighbourhood Launch: 300 branded autos at an average of Rs.300 (Rs.90,000), 1,000 no-parking boards at Rs.40 (Rs.40,000) and Rs.60,000 of ads, which with the fee and retainer comes to about Rs.3,09,000 before GST. Two of those unit prices do not match the current one-time card. There is no Rs.300 per-auto price for 300 autos: hoods are Rs.650 at that quantity, and the cheaper back panel needs 500 autos. And 1,000 boards sit in the Rs.45 slab, not Rs.40. Priced at the card, the same mix is Plan D, Rs.4,30,000, which is Rs.1,21,000 more on our arithmetic. We use the card here rather than averaging the two, and the card is what a scope is built on.

What does each plan cost with GST?

Our arithmetic: GST at 18 percent on our invoice lines (retainer, outdoor media, media fee); the Rs.60,000 ad budget is billed by Meta and Google to your own accounts
PlanOur invoice before GSTGST at 18 percentOur invoice with GSTPlus ad budget to Meta and GoogleTotal cash out
A: 1,000 boardsRs.1,55,500Rs.27,990Rs.1,83,490Rs.60,000Rs.2,43,490
B: 500 back panelsRs.1,99,500Rs.35,910Rs.2,35,410Rs.60,000Rs.2,95,410
C: 300 hoodsRs.3,20,500Rs.57,690Rs.3,78,190Rs.60,000Rs.4,38,190
D: 300 hoods plus 1,000 boardsRs.3,70,000Rs.66,600Rs.4,36,600Rs.60,000Rs.4,96,600

The split matters for cash flow. The ad budget never passes through our accounts: it is charged by Meta and Google to your own card or invoice, with whatever tax those platforms apply on their bill, which this table leaves out. What we invoice is the retainer, the outdoor media at card rates and the 10 percent fee, and GST at 18 percent applies to all three for Indian clients.

How much of the bill is fee and how much is media?

Our arithmetic: retainer plus media fee as a share of each plan's total before GST
PlanRetainer plus feeMedia (outdoor plus digital)Fee share of total
A: 1,000 boardsRs.1,10,500Rs.1,05,00051 percent
B: 500 back panelsRs.1,14,500Rs.1,45,00044 percent
C: 300 hoodsRs.1,25,500Rs.2,55,00033 percent
D: 300 hoods plus 1,000 boardsRs.1,30,000Rs.3,00,00030 percent

We would rather say it plainly: in Plan A, half of what you pay is planning, creative adaptation, execution management and measurement, not media. That is because the retainer is flat while the cheapest outdoor format is cheap. If the main question is whether integrated measurement is worth Rs.1,00,000 to your business, Plan A answers it at the lowest media cost; if the main question is reach on the street, the retainer weighs less as the outdoor line grows.

Which plan fits which kind of launch?

  • Plan A, boards only, suits a business whose customers live within a few streets: no-parking boards go up at house and society gates in the chosen localities, at a one-time price per board.
  • Plan B, back panels, is the cheapest way to put the brand on autos at all, Rs.85,000 for 500, but it needs 200 more autos than the hood minimum and a smaller creative area.
  • Plan C, hoods, is the larger auto format at Rs.650 one-time each, and at 300 autos it is the smallest hood order the card allows.
  • Plan D pairs moving autos with fixed boards in the same localities, which is the mix the service page's own example describes, priced here at the card.
  • A 24x18 back panel instead of 24x6 in Plan B adds Rs.50,000 of media (500 at Rs.270 is Rs.1,35,000) and Rs.5,000 of fee, a Rs.3,14,500 plan before GST on our arithmetic.

How are QR codes and UTM links set up to measure it?

Our service page builds five signals in before launch: QR codes unique to each format and locality, UTM links and short URLs on the outdoor pieces, coupon codes per locality, WhatsApp enquiries tagged by the format that started them, and branded search demand baselined for 4 weeks before launch. It adds a sixth on the digital side, comparing geo-targeted ad results in outdoor localities with matched localities that have no outdoor, and it says plainly that this is directional, not a laboratory. The tier list names the WhatsApp capture flow on the Neighbourhood Launch and puts the campaign landing page on City Launch and above, so in a Neighbourhood Launch the QR codes usually open WhatsApp or a UTM-tagged page on your existing site. How to read those enquiries once they land is covered in our guide to tracking leads from your website and Google Business Profile.

An example tracking scheme for Plan D in two Pune localities (our suggested naming; the codes are set on the scope)

Google ads, both localitiesAd linkgoogle / cpcNone, tracked by UTM

Six codes for two localities is the point: an enquiry that arrives with GATE2 or from QR 4 can be counted against the Rs.45 boards in that locality, and one from QR 1 against the hoods. We publish no response rate or cost per enquiry for these formats, because we do not have a number that would hold across categories and cities. The report produces your number for your launch, and the second flight is planned from it.

Is it cheaper to book the outdoor and the ads separately?

On fees alone, yes. Outdoor formats can be booked on their own at the same card rates, and our Meta ads management and Google Ads management plans each start at Rs.25,000 a month. One month of both is Rs.50,000 of management against Rs.1,10,500 of retainer plus fee in Plan A, so the separate route is Rs.60,500 cheaper before GST on our arithmetic. What it does not include is the thing the retainer pays for: one set of QR codes, coupons and WhatsApp tags across both halves, ad geography drawn around the same localities as the boards, and one report with cost per enquiry by format. If you already run ads well, booking only the outdoor and sharing the locality plan with your agency is a reasonable choice.

What changes when the launch grows to a City Launch?

The City Launch retainer starts at Rs.2,50,000 for 6 to 8 weeks and adds a mobile van, newspaper inserts, YouTube as a third digital channel, a campaign landing page and a weekly dashboard. Inserts follow the card: 50,000 is the minimum, at Rs.1.25 each for A5, Rs.1.70 for A4 and Rs.2.20 for A2, falling to Rs.1.15, Rs.1.50 and Rs.2.00 above it. On our arithmetic, a minimum A5 drop is Rs.62,500 and an A4 drop Rs.85,000 before GST, and each joins the media line that the 10 percent fee is charged on. The van is quoted from its own page by format and route days, so we leave it out of these totals.

What sits outside these numbers?

  • Video shoots and product photography beyond adapting the key visual you supply.
  • Municipal, society or venue permission fees where a specific location needs them, passed through at cost.
  • Shop name boards, quoted per board by material and size.
  • Tax that Meta and Google apply on their own bills for the ad budget.
  • GST on our retainer, outdoor media and fee, shown separately in the GST table above.

If an integrated launch is one item in a wider year of spend, our monthly digital marketing budget guide builds the always-on lines from the same published prices, so the launch can be planned as a spike on top of them rather than a replacement for them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest digital plus outdoor launch I can book in one city?

At our published rates it is Plan A: the Rs.1,00,000 Neighbourhood Launch retainer, 1,000 no-parking boards at Rs.45 each (Rs.45,000), Rs.60,000 of Meta and Google ads over 4 weeks, and a 10 percent media fee of Rs.10,500. That is Rs.2,15,500 before GST, and Rs.2,43,490 once 18 percent GST is added to our invoice lines, on our arithmetic. Fewer than 1,000 boards cannot be booked.

Are auto branding prices in an integrated launch monthly or one-time?

One-time. The card prices auto hood branding at Rs.650 per auto for 300 to 499 autos and Rs.630 from 500, and back panel stickers at Rs.170 or Rs.270 per auto by size for 500 to 799 autos, falling to Rs.140 or Rs.240 from 800. Each covers print plus install for that auto. GST at 18 percent is extra, and the 10 percent media fee is charged on the total.

Is the 10 percent media fee charged on the digital ad budget too?

Yes. It is 10 percent of the combined outdoor and digital media, so in Plan A it is 10 percent of Rs.45,000 of boards plus Rs.60,000 of ads, which is Rs.10,500. The ad budget itself is still paid by you to Meta and Google from your own accounts; the fee is our invoice line for booking, pacing, reallocating budget by locality and running the measurement.

Can I run a Neighbourhood Launch with 100 autos as a test?

Not at the published card. Auto hood branding has a 300-auto minimum and back panels a 500-auto minimum, so 100 or 200 autos is not bookable. The smallest auto-based plan is 500 back panels at Rs.170, Rs.85,000 of media, which makes a Rs.2,59,500 Neighbourhood Launch before GST on our arithmetic. For a smaller outdoor test, 1,000 no-parking boards at Rs.45 is Rs.45,000.

How long does a Neighbourhood Launch take from approved scope to final report?

About 6 weeks on the service page's own timings: roughly 2 weeks from an approved scope for creative adaptation, printing and installation while ad accounts, QR codes and the WhatsApp flow are built, then 4 weeks live with outdoor and digital starting the same day. The branded search baseline is recorded for 4 weeks before launch, so start that early.

Why do the totals here differ from the Rs.3,09,000 on the service page?

The service page example prices 300 autos at an average of Rs.300 and 1,000 boards at Rs.40. Neither is a card price at those quantities: hoods are Rs.650 at 300 autos, back panels need 500, and 1,000 boards are Rs.45 each. At card prices the same mix is Rs.4,30,000 before GST, Rs.1,21,000 higher on our arithmetic. We quote from the card.
