Organic Social vs Paid Social on a Rs.55,000 Budget: Same Money, Two Shapes (2026)
Rs.55,000 buys our Social Growth plan outright, or Rs.25,000 of Meta ads management plus the Rs.30,000 ad budget the Meta page calls its floor. Here is what each shape makes, who it reaches, how fast, and which one a business should buy first, on published prices only.

On our published prices, Rs.55,000 a month is either the Social Growth plan, 16 posts, 8 reels from a half-day shoot, 8 stories and replies on 3 platforms, or the Rs.25,000 Meta Launch fee plus the Rs.30,000 ad budget floor. Organic builds an owned library; paid buys cold reach within 7 working days and stops with the spend.
Key takeaways
- Social Growth at Rs.55,000 (Rs.64,900 with GST) makes 32 pieces a month, about Rs.1,719 each, with a half-day shoot and DM replies included; the 8 reels alone would cost Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,60,000 at the production-house rates the page cites.
- The paid shape is Rs.25,000 of flat management (Rs.29,500 with GST) plus Rs.30,000 paid to Meta, which is Rs.1,000 a day, exactly the floor below which the Meta page says campaigns struggle to leave the learning phase.
- At the Meta page's published Rs.150 to Rs.1,500 per lead, Rs.30,000 is 20 to 200 leads a month on our arithmetic; ecommerce brands are told to start at Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00,000, above what this budget leaves.
- Paid reaches non-followers from day one and shows first leads in the first week of spend; organic reach recovers in 4 to 6 weeks and talks mostly to followers unless reels travel or you fund boosts.
- Rs.55,000 cannot buy both: Presence plus Launch leaves no ad budget. The smallest both-ways month on published prices is Rs.85,000 before GST.
Rs.55,000 a month is a number that appears twice on our published price lists, and it buys two completely different things. On our social media marketing page it is the Social Growth plan: 3 platforms, 16 designed posts, 8 reels with a half-day shoot each month, 8 stories, community management and a fortnightly report. On our Meta ads page the same money is the Rs.25,000 Launch management fee plus Rs.30,000 of ad budget paid to Meta, which is exactly the floor the page sets for lead flow in a metro. Same cheque, opposite shape: one is labour that compounds slowly in an account you own, the other is reach bought by the day and gone when the budget stops. This guide puts the two side by side using only the figures both pages publish.
What does Rs.55,000 buy as organic social and as paid social?
| Organic: Social Growth plan | Paid: Meta Launch plan plus ad budget | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee to us | Rs.55,000 (about $1,100) | Rs.25,000 (about $500), flat, not a percentage of spend |
| Money to the platform | None required; boosts are optional and paid by you from your own ad account | Rs.30,000 to Meta from your own card or invoice |
| With 18 percent GST on the fee | Rs.64,900 | Rs.29,500 plus the Rs.30,000 budget: Rs.59,500 before any tax Meta adds to its own invoice |
| What gets made each month | 16 designed posts, 8 reels from a half-day shoot, 8 stories, captions, hashtags and alt text | 4 new ad creatives; up to 3 campaigns; Pixel and Conversions API setup |
| Who talks to your customers | Comments and DMs answered 10am to 7pm IST, Monday to Saturday; enquiries forwarded within the hour | Lead forms with qualifying questions and instant WhatsApp handoff; your team calls the leads |
| Rhythm | Calendar by the 25th, scheduled by the 28th, fortnightly format review, fortnightly report and strategy call | Weekly budget review, creative rotation and kill-or-scale decisions, change log, monthly report and call |
| Platforms | 3 of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube | Facebook and Instagram only |
| Ceiling on this tier | A full shoot day, creators and managed paid social need Social Brand at Rs.1,00,000 | Ad budget above Rs.1,00,000 a month moves you to Growth at Rs.45,000 |
| When it stops | 15 days notice; scheduled posts still go out, files and accounts are already yours | Remove our access; the ad account, Pixel and audiences stay in your Business Manager, but reach stops with the spend |
Two corrections to the headline comparison before going further. The organic column is not entirely free of ad money: Social Growth includes boosted-post management from your own ad account, with spend extra, so a Growth client can also put rupees behind the best post. And the paid column is not entirely free of content: the Launch plan makes 4 creatives a month, written and designed, which is a quarter of what Growth makes but is not nothing. The clean comparison is Rs.55,000 of production and replies against Rs.25,000 of management and Rs.30,000 of distribution, and that is how the rest of this piece reads it.
Is Rs.30,000 of ad budget enough for the paid side to work?
Only just, on the Meta page's own numbers. It calls Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 a month a realistic minimum for a business that wants lead flow rather than data, and says that below roughly Rs.1,000 a day campaigns struggle to leave the learning phase and swing week to week. Rs.30,000 over a 30-day month is Rs.1,000 a day, the floor itself. The page's lead-generation range from its audits is Rs.150 to Rs.1,500 per lead depending on ticket size, which at Rs.30,000 is 20 to 200 leads a month on our arithmetic, a tenfold spread that the offer and the industry decide, not the agency. Ecommerce is a different matter: the page says brands testing product-market fit typically start at Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00,000 a month so enough purchases happen for the algorithm to learn, so a Rs.55,000 paid plan for a shop is below the page's own comfortable range.
What does the organic side cost per piece, and why can the paid side not make it?
Social Growth produces 32 pieces a month: 16 posts, 8 reels and 8 stories. Rs.55,000 across 32 is about Rs.1,719 per piece before GST, and that includes the half-day shoot, the replies and the report. The social page gives the honest production benchmark: Indian production houses typically charge Rs.5,000 to Rs.20,000 per short vertical video, so the 8 reels alone would cost Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,60,000 bought one at a time, and a reel is 3 to 5 times the labour of a static post. Batching a half-day shoot into 8 reels plus stills for the posts is what makes the plan arithmetic work, and it is why our reels production calendar spends a whole guide on the shoot day.
The Launch plan on the paid side makes 4 ad creatives a month and refreshes concepts every 2 to 3 weeks because, as the Meta page puts it, in 2026 creative is the targeting and fatigue is what kills accounts. Four is enough for a lead campaign with one offer. It is not a content library, and it is not footage of your business; the Meta page lists video shoots and product photography as not included, briefed by us or scoped separately. A business with no footage and no posts that buys only the paid shape will run ads into a bare profile, which is the case the next section is about.
Which shape reaches people who do not already follow you?
Paid, by design, and organic only through reels and boosts. The Meta plan builds cold, warm and retargeting campaigns by funnel stage, so every rupee of the Rs.30,000 is aimed at people chosen by audience and conversion event, most of whom have never seen the page. Organic reach on Growth comes from two places the social page names: reels, which it calls the format the platforms push furthest beyond your followers, and boosted posts managed from your own ad account on top of the fee. Without boost money the organic plan talks mostly to people who already chose to listen, which is fine for a page that needs to convert its followers and wrong for a page with 400 of them that needs customers in a month.
| Question | Organic: Social Growth | Paid: Meta Launch plus Rs.30,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Reaches non-followers? | Through reels and optional boosts you fund | Yes, by audience and funnel stage, from day one |
| Time to first visible change | Consistency shows in 4 to 6 weeks as reach recovers, per the social page | Live within 7 working days of inputs; first leads or sales typically in the first week of spend, per the Meta page |
| What the first month looks like | Weeks 1 and 2 are audit, voice guide, templates and account hygiene; posting starts in weeks 3 to 4 | Pixel, Conversions API, campaign structure and the first creative batch, then weekly optimisation |
| What you own afterwards | Pages, Business Suite, calendar, raw footage, edited reels and design files, delivered to your Drive monthly | Ad account, Pixel, audiences, creative history and account trust, all in your Business Manager |
| What stops when the money stops | Nothing already published; the account keeps whatever it earned | Reach, the same day; the data and audiences stay |
| What the report leads with | Profile visits, link clicks, saves, DM enquiries and leads, followers reported last | Spend, cost per lead, cost per purchase and ROAS, with the change log and full account access |
Which should a business buy first with Rs.55,000?
Paid, if the business has a working offer, a landing page or WhatsApp line to send people to, and needs enquiries inside 30 days. The Meta page's own cadence, live in 7 working days and first leads in the first week of spend, is built for that. Organic, if the business has no proof on its profile, no footage, nobody answering DMs, and a product that is bought after a few looks rather than one click: a clinic, a restaurant, a school, a builder whose buyers will check the page before they call. The social page's sequencing is explicit that enquiries come after consistency returns, which it puts at 4 to 6 weeks, and our 90-day small business budget guide puts the same point as a calendar.
Rs.55,000 cannot buy both shapes at once
The cheapest both-ways split is Social Presence at Rs.30,000 plus Meta Launch at Rs.25,000, which leaves nothing for ad budget, and the Meta page says a managed account with no spend has nothing to optimise. The smallest honest both-ways month on our published prices is Rs.85,000 before GST: Presence, Launch and the Rs.30,000 floor. Below that, pick a shape, run it for a quarter, and add the other when the first is paying for itself.
What does one quarter of each shape add up to?
Three months of Social Growth is Rs.1,65,000 before GST and Rs.1,94,700 with it, and at the end you hold 48 posts, 24 reels, 24 stories, three shoot days of raw footage and a page that has been answered every working day. Three months of the paid shape is Rs.75,000 of fees, Rs.88,500 with GST, plus Rs.90,000 paid to Meta: Rs.1,78,500 in all on our arithmetic, for 12 creatives, a tested funnel, and between 60 and 600 leads at the page's published lead-cost range. Neither number includes landing pages, which the Meta page quotes as a separate fixed project from our landing page service, or creator fees, which both pages route through influencer marketing at cost. The two quarters cost within Rs.17,000 of each other with GST; what differs is whether the money left an asset or a result, and a business that needs both ends up on the performance marketing page at Rs.45,000 plus budget, running Meta, Google and YouTube on one P&L.
- Pick organic first when the profile is the sales pitch and the buyer takes a few looks: clinics, restaurants, schools, builders, premium retail.
- Pick paid first when the offer is clear, the landing page or WhatsApp line exists, and the next 30 days need enquiries more than the next year needs a library.
- Fund boosts on Growth only after the fortnightly review shows which post earns saves and enquiries; the social page's rule is to double the winner, not the average.
- Keep the ad account, the Pixel and the pages in your own Business Manager under either shape; both pages publish that as a condition of month-to-month terms.
- Judge organic at 90 days on profile visits, link clicks, saves and enquiries, and paid at 30 days on cost per lead against the Rs.150 to Rs.1,500 range the Meta page publishes for its audits.
Every figure above is on the two service pages and on our pricing page, and both engagements start the same way: a written scope and a fixed price within two working days, with no retainer until you approve it.
Frequently asked questions
Is organic social media cheaper than paid social in India?
Per month at Rs.55,000 they cost the same by construction, which is the point of this comparison. The difference is where the money goes: Social Growth puts all Rs.55,000 into production, replies and reporting, while the paid shape puts Rs.25,000 into management and Rs.30,000 into Meta's auction. Over a quarter the two are within about Rs.17,000 of each other with GST, on our arithmetic from the published prices.
How many leads can Rs.30,000 of Meta ads produce?
The Meta page does not promise a number. It publishes a range from its audits of Rs.150 to Rs.1,500 per lead depending on ticket size, which at Rs.30,000 is 20 to 200 leads a month on our arithmetic. It also says Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 is the realistic minimum for lead flow in a metro and that below Rs.1,000 a day campaigns struggle to leave the learning phase, so Rs.30,000 sits at the floor.
Does the Social Growth plan include any paid reach?
It includes management of boosted posts from your own ad account, with the boost money paid by you to Meta on top of the Rs.55,000 fee. Full paid social campaigns are part of the Social Brand plan at Rs.1,00,000. So Growth is an organic plan that can carry boosts, not a paid plan, and its reach beyond followers comes mainly from the 8 reels the page says the platforms push furthest.
How quickly does each shape show results?
The Meta page says campaigns go live within 7 working days of receiving inputs and first leads or sales typically arrive within the first week of spend. The social page says consistency shows in 4 to 6 weeks as reach recovers and posts begin appearing to non-followers, with month 1 spent on audit, voice guide, templates and account hygiene and posting starting in weeks 3 to 4. Paid is faster; organic is cumulative.
Can a business run both organic and paid social for Rs.55,000?
Not usefully. Social Presence at Rs.30,000 plus Meta Launch at Rs.25,000 adds up to Rs.55,000 with nothing left for ad budget, and the Meta page's floor for lead flow is Rs.30,000 a month of spend. The smallest both-ways month on our published prices is Rs.85,000 before GST, Presence plus Launch plus that Rs.30,000, with GST on the two fees taking it to Rs.94,900.
