Amazon PPC Management Cost in India (2026): Fees by Ad-Spend Band, the Rs.75,000 Budget Floor, and ACoS Against TACoS

What Indian agencies charge to run Amazon and Flipkart ads at each level of spend, our three published tiers, the budget below which a fee buys mostly noise, and why the fee should be judged on TACoS.

Amazon PPC management in India typically costs Rs.15,000 to Rs.35,000 a month under Rs.1 lakh of ad spend, Rs.30,000 to Rs.60,000 between Rs.1 and 5 lakh, and Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,25,000 between Rs.5 and 15 lakh. Mediaverse Digital charges Rs.30,000, Rs.55,000, or Rs.1,00,000 or 8 percent of spend, plus GST.

Key takeaways

  • Typical Indian Amazon PPC fees, published on our marketplace page: Rs.15,000 to Rs.35,000 a month under Rs.1 lakh of ad spend, Rs.30,000 to Rs.60,000 at Rs.1 to 5 lakh, Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,25,000 at Rs.5 to 15 lakh, and 8 to 15 percent of spend above Rs.10 lakh.
  • Our tiers, plus 18 percent GST on the fee: Starter Rs.30,000 for one marketplace, 25 ASINs and up to Rs.2 lakh of spend; Growth Rs.55,000 for Amazon and Flipkart, 100 ASINs and Rs.2 to 8 lakh; Scale Rs.1,00,000 or 8 percent of spend, whichever is higher.
  • The honest minimum is about Rs.75,000 a month of ad spend for a catalogue to learn. At that level the Rs.30,000 Starter fee is 40 percent of spend; at Rs.2 lakh it is 15 percent.
  • Spend is not the only thing that sets the tier: a 26th ASIN or a second marketplace moves a brand from Rs.30,000 to Rs.55,000 even at Rs.1 lakh of spend.
  • Judge the fee on TACoS, ad cost against total marketplace sales, not ACoS alone. On the page's own example, Rs.1 lakh of spend is a 25 percent ACoS and a 10 percent TACoS; adding the Starter fee makes them 32.5 and 13 percent on our arithmetic.

Amazon advertising in India has three costs, and most quotes show only one of them. There is the ad budget you pay Amazon or Flipkart from your own seller account, the management fee you pay an agency, and, for brands using Amazon DSP, a separate media fee on programmatic spend. This guide prices all three from what our Amazon and marketplace advertising page publishes: the Indian fee bands at each level of ad spend, our three tiers, the budget below which a fee buys mostly noise, and how the fee changes ACoS and TACoS once it is counted.

How much does Amazon PPC management cost in India in 2026?

Typical Indian agency fees for Amazon PPC by monthly ad spend, 2026 (market bands published on our marketplace advertising page)
Monthly ad spendTypical agency feeHow it is usually charged
Under Rs.1 lakhRs.15,000 to Rs.35,000 a monthFlat retainer
Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakhRs.30,000 to Rs.60,000 a monthFlat retainer
Rs.5 lakh to Rs.15 lakhRs.50,000 to Rs.1,25,000 a monthFlat retainer, sometimes a percentage
Above Rs.10 lakh8 to 15 percent of ad spendPercentage of spend models
Amazon DSP, any level7 to 10 percent of DSP spendMedia fee on programmatic spend, separate from management

These are market bands, not our rate card, and they overlap because agencies price differently: some by spend, some by ASIN count, some by marketplace. The fee is also only part of the bill. The ad budget is charged by Amazon or Flipkart to your seller account and should never pass through an agency's accounts, and GST at 18 percent is added to the fee for Indian clients.

What do the Mediaverse marketplace tiers include?

Mediaverse Digital published marketplace advertising tiers, 2026 (plus 18 percent GST on the fee; ad budget paid to the marketplace by you)
TierFeeCoversWhat it adds
Marketplace StarterRs.30,000 a month (about $600)One marketplace, Amazon or Flipkart; up to 25 ASINs; ad budget up to Rs.2,00,000Sponsored Products auto and manual, weekly bid and negative harvesting, listing keyword work on the top 10 ASINs, monthly ACoS and TACoS report
Marketplace GrowthRs.55,000 a month (about $1,100)Amazon and Flipkart; up to 100 ASINs; ad budget Rs.2,00,000 to Rs.8,00,000Sponsored Brands and Display, Brand Store and A+ refresh on 4 ASINs a month, competitor ASIN conquest, daily bid management, fortnightly dashboard
Marketplace ScaleRs.1,00,000 a month (about $2,000) or 8 percent of spend, whichever is higherUnlimited ASINs; for brands spending Rs.8 lakh plusEverything in Growth, Amazon DSP and AMC audiences (DSP media fee 7 to 10 percent at cost), Sponsored Brands Video, inventory-aware pacing, senior strategist and analyst, weekly calls

Read the "Covers" column before the fee. Three things move a brand up a tier, and only one of them is spend. A catalogue with a 26th advertised ASIN needs Growth. So does a brand that wants Flipkart run alongside Amazon, because Starter covers one marketplace. A brand spending Rs.1 lakh a month across both marketplaces therefore pays Rs.55,000, not Rs.30,000, which is 55 percent of its spend on our arithmetic. If that is you, it is worth asking whether one marketplace should carry the first 90 days on its own.

What is the minimum Amazon ad budget worth paying a fee on?

Our page puts the honest minimum at around Rs.75,000 a month for a catalogue of 20 to 25 ASINs. Below that, bids spread too thin for the weekly search-term reports to show which terms convert, and a fee pays someone to watch noise. A single hero product can be tested on Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000, but the page is plain that organic rank rarely moves at that level. The table sets the published fees against a range of spends, with GST added to the fee only. The percentages and totals are our arithmetic.

Our arithmetic: Mediaverse fee as a share of ad spend, and the full monthly bill with 18 percent GST on the fee
Monthly ad spendTier and feeFee as share of spendMonthly total with GST on the fee
Rs.25,000 (hero ASIN test)Starter, Rs.30,000120 percentRs.60,400
Rs.75,000 (catalogue floor)Starter, Rs.30,00040 percentRs.1,10,400
Rs.1,00,000Starter, Rs.30,00030 percentRs.1,35,400
Rs.2,00,000Starter, Rs.30,00015 percentRs.2,35,400
Rs.2,50,000Growth, Rs.55,00022 percentRs.3,14,900
Rs.8,00,000Growth, Rs.55,0006.9 percentRs.8,64,900
Rs.8,50,000Scale, Rs.1,00,00011.8 percentRs.9,68,000
Rs.12,50,000Scale, Rs.1,00,0008 percentRs.13,68,000
Rs.20,00,000Scale, 8 percent = Rs.1,60,0008 percentRs.21,88,800

Two lines in that table deserve attention. The fee share jumps at each tier edge: Rs.2 lakh of spend carries 15 percent and Rs.2.5 lakh carries 22 percent, and Rs.8 lakh carries 6.9 percent while Rs.8.5 lakh carries 11.8 percent. A budget just over an edge should either use what the next tier adds, Sponsored Brands, Display and Flipkart on Growth or DSP on Scale, or stay under it. And the 8 percent on Scale only bites from Rs.12.5 lakh of spend, where 8 percent equals the Rs.1,00,000 floor; between Rs.8 lakh and Rs.12.5 lakh the fee is flat.

How does a published fee compare with the market at each spend?

Our published fees set against the Indian market bands on the same page
Monthly ad spendMarket bandMediaverse feeWhere ours sits
Under Rs.1 lakhRs.15,000 to Rs.35,000Rs.30,000Near the top of the band
Rs.1 lakh to Rs.2 lakhRs.30,000 to Rs.60,000Rs.30,000At the bottom of the band
Rs.2 lakh to Rs.5 lakhRs.30,000 to Rs.60,000Rs.55,000Near the top of the band
Rs.5 lakh to Rs.8 lakhRs.50,000 to Rs.1,25,000Rs.55,000Near the bottom of the band
Rs.8 lakh to Rs.15 lakhRs.50,000 to Rs.1,25,000; 8 to 15 percent above Rs.10 lakhRs.1,00,000, or 8 percent from Rs.12.5 lakhMid-band, and at the low end of the percentage range

We would rather say it than have you find it: below Rs.1 lakh of spend our Rs.30,000 is near the top of the market, and between Rs.2 and 5 lakh our Rs.55,000 is too. What the fee buys in those ranges is the written scope in the tiers above, the weekly harvesting and the TACoS report. A cheaper retainer is worth comparing line by line on those three things before it is compared on price.

Should an Amazon agency fee be judged on ACoS or TACoS?

ACoS is ad spend divided by the sales Amazon attributes to ads; Amazon Ads defines it this way in its own ACOS guide. TACoS divides the same spend by total marketplace sales, organic included. ACoS is easy to flatter by cutting spend back to branded terms, while TACoS shows whether paid orders are lifting organic rank or simply replacing sales you would have had anyway. Our page uses one worked example, and adding the fee to it shows what it does to both numbers.

The page's ACoS and TACoS example, with the Starter fee added on our arithmetic (before GST)
MeasureAd spend onlyAd spend plus Rs.30,000 Starter fee
CostRs.1,00,000Rs.1,30,000
Ad-attributed salesRs.4,00,000Rs.4,00,000
Total marketplace salesRs.10,00,000Rs.10,00,000
ACoS25 percent32.5 percent
TACoS10 percent13 percent

The page also sets the target from margin rather than from a category average. If contribution margin after referral and fulfilment fees is 35 percent, an ACoS of 35 percent is break-even on the ad-attributed sale. In the example, Rs.4 lakh of ad sales at a 35 percent margin earns Rs.1,40,000 of contribution, and the all-in cost of Rs.1,30,000 sits just under it. That leaves Rs.10,000 on the ad-attributed sales alone, before any organic lift, on our arithmetic. A fee that only works when ACoS is quoted without it is a fee to question. TACoS falling from month 3 is the sign it is earning its place.

What does Amazon DSP add to the bill?

DSP buys display and video against Amazon shopping audiences on and off Amazon, and AMC builds audiences from your own conversion paths. Both sit on the Scale tier only, and the page says DSP usually only makes sense above Rs.8 lakh of total monthly marketplace spend. The media fee of 7 to 10 percent of DSP spend is billed at cost as its own invoice line, separate from management. On our arithmetic, Rs.2 lakh of DSP spend in a month adds Rs.14,000 to Rs.20,000 of media fee.

What sits outside an Amazon PPC management fee?

  • The ad budget, charged by Amazon or Flipkart to your own seller account.
  • DSP media fees of 7 to 10 percent of DSP spend, billed separately at cost on Scale.
  • Product photography, A+ video shoots and 3D renders, which we brief and scope separately.
  • Marketplace referral fees, FBA or fulfilment charges and deal participation fees.
  • Brand Registry, trademark filing and listing compliance appeals beyond advice.
  • GST, added to the management fee for Indian clients.

How long before managed Amazon ads show results?

  1. Days 1 to 5: account and catalogue audit, with 60 days of search-term data and the top 25 ASINs reviewed, written up in 3 to 5 working days.
  2. Within 10 working days of console access: campaigns rebuilt by ASIN role, target ACoS set per product from margin, titles and backend keywords updated.
  3. Weeks 4 to 6: ACoS usually improves as negatives and exact-match harvesting take effect.
  4. Weeks 6 to 12: organic rank on tracked keywords starts to move with consistent paid velocity.
  5. Month 3 onward: TACoS should trend down if listings and reviews are sound. Judge the account at day 90, not day 30.

Because the verdict arrives at 90 days, budget a quarter. On our arithmetic, three months of Starter at the Rs.75,000 floor is Rs.3,15,000 before GST and Rs.3,31,200 with GST on the three fees. Plans run month to month after the first month with 15 days notice, so the quarter is advice, not a lock-in.

What should you ask an Amazon PPC agency before signing?

  • Is the fee flat, a percentage of spend, or the higher of the two, and at what spend does a percentage overtake the floor?
  • How many ASINs and which marketplaces does the fee cover, and what happens at the 26th ASIN or when Flipkart is added?
  • Will the report show TACoS next to ACoS every month, with organic rank on tracked keywords?
  • Is there a weekly change log with the date and reason for every bid and negative?
  • Do the Seller Central and advertising console stay in your name, with the agency as a user you can remove?

Ads cannot rescue a listing or a store that does not convert. If you are deciding where to sell before how to advertise, our ecommerce website cost guide compares a marketplace-only route with your own store, and our Shopify development cost guide prices the store itself. Brands running Meta and Google alongside marketplaces can compare this fee with our performance marketing retainer guide, and every fee here is also on our published pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Is 8 percent of ad spend a fair Amazon agency fee in India?

It sits at the low end of the market. Our marketplace page publishes percentage models of 8 to 15 percent of spend above Rs.10 lakh a month. Our Scale tier charges Rs.1,00,000 or 8 percent, whichever is higher, so the percentage only applies from Rs.12.5 lakh of spend. Below that the fee is the flat Rs.1,00,000, which is 11.8 percent at Rs.8.5 lakh.

Why does an Amazon agency fee go up when Flipkart is added?

Because Flipkart Ads is a second console with its own Product Listing Ads, Brand Ads and keyword tooling. Our Starter tier at Rs.30,000 covers one marketplace, Amazon or Flipkart, and up to 25 ASINs. Running both, or advertising a 26th ASIN, needs Growth at Rs.55,000, even at Rs.1 lakh of spend. Growth also adds Sponsored Brands, Display and competitor conquest.

Can I hire an Amazon PPC agency with a Rs.25,000 ad budget?

You can, but the fee would be larger than the media. Our page says a single hero product can be tested on Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000, while a catalogue needs around Rs.75,000 a month to learn. At Rs.25,000 of spend, the Rs.30,000 Starter fee is 120 percent of spend, a monthly bill of Rs.60,400 with GST on the fee, on our arithmetic.

Is GST charged on Amazon ads management in India?

Yes, on the fee. GST at 18 percent is added to the management fee for Indian clients, so Starter at Rs.30,000 is Rs.35,400 a month, Growth at Rs.55,000 is Rs.64,900 and Scale at Rs.1,00,000 is Rs.1,18,000. The ad budget is not paid through us: Amazon or Flipkart bills it to your seller account, so tax on the media appears on the marketplace invoice.

Does an Amazon PPC fee include product photos and A+ content?

Listing keywords and A+ work are partly included, photography is not. Our Starter tier rewrites titles, bullets and backend search terms on the top 10 ASINs, and Growth refreshes Brand Store and A+ content on 4 ASINs a month. Product photography, A+ video shoots and 3D renders are briefed by us and produced separately, outside the fee.

Who pays Amazon for the ads, the brand or the agency?

The brand. On our marketplace page the ad budget is charged by Amazon or Flipkart directly to your own seller account and is never routed through ours. We work inside your Seller Central and advertising console as a user with campaign permissions, so if you stop, you remove our access and the campaigns, data and reports stay with you.
